I’m the same way! I’m 17 and you know I just want to remind you obeying God and staying pure in Him and being patient is so important and it’s so worth it personally I’ve never dated a guy or had a talking stage situationship whatever all these things are I’ve never had it or experienced and it can be hard sometimes cause I can feel so worthless and lonely but then I remember how much of a gift this is! Like God is literally protecting me and I know if I stay faithful and pure in Him I will be blessed and just be encouraged and firm in God He will bless you throughly and I pray that one day He blesses u with an amazing man of God God bless

Hey am 17 years old and I also feel this way 💔. I really desire a Christ centred relationship to the extent I began to idolize men so much and totally ignored my walk with God to the extent for like weeks I just stopped talking to God💔💔 being honest it didn't even help Me in anyway. I came back to God today. And not going to Lie God did a lot of things to bring me back to his presence but I ignored but today Nope I just had to because even tho I don't feel him most times he continually showed me he loves and wants me. I really want to focus on my relationship with God and I no he would grant me all my Prays and same as yours as we diligent serve him and build a strong relationship with him☺️❤️ Matthew 6:33❤

Yes I feel you a 100% I also feel like the same way but I am in the other side of the spectrum. I am currently 17 turning 18 in 3 months and I am in a relationship. I felt the exact same way you do and started my first relationship at 16. I am now in my second relationship due to the same reason as you of idolizing relationship with men and I tell you from the other side of the spectrum it does not get easier feeling like that being with someone than feeling like that way while being single. I have been listening to a lot of podcasts and preaches and I have come to the realization that right now I am not ready for a relationship because my relationship with God has nor been #1 in my life and it has been so hard for me to let go from my partner just because I decided to rush things and do them my way. Use this time to work on you and your relationship with him until you depend 100% in God and things will flow so much easier. I am in a state of so much confusion and fear because I don't want to let go of what I have, so please take advantage of not being with anyone. God has saved you from a lot of trouble.

Hinder me from continuing to build my relationship with God. I have some advice for you. I know you didn’t ask for my opinion and I may not be the wisest but. I’m going to share my thoughts “God is not a God of confusion” 1Corinthians 14:33. Any relationships in your life no matter if it’s a friendship or a romantic relationship. Should be bringing you closer to God not away from Him. If you know He hasn’t been #1 in your life and you genuinely feel like. Your relationship with your partner is distracting you and hindering you from your relationship. With Him you need to cut it off as soon as possible. It won’t be easy and I understand that but. God’s got you always and is protecting you and covering your heart always. You’ll be okay make sure to lean on His understanding and not your own. God bless you!!

The way that my story lines up with this exactly just blows my mind. For years I was okay with settling with men that were worldly and would break my heart in an instant because I was never raised by men that genuinely loved the women they were with but used them for their own desires. I am also 19 and have decided that I want God to fully be first and for Him to teach me how to become the woman and wife that He has designed me to be. I pray for all of our spiritual walks with God and that we continue to allow Him to lead!

I’m literally in the same boat as you. Just broke up with my partner a day ago. Felt so heavily convicted but in the end, knew we were unequally yoked. Continue praying. Put God first not marriage, a relationship, your career, etc. God all day every day❤️

Do you have any tips on being confident within you alone with Christ? What did you learn to be in a position that you are in love soley in a relationship with God without want for more?

Match the up with the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-26) and what God says love as (2 Corinthians 13:4-8. Are you both equally yoked ? Do they love and respect you? As they lead by God? Are y’all compatible. Do they protect your purity ? Are they selfless?
