Here it makes sense, at least for the MC. Despite the professionalism, there’s present implications that this isn’t their first outing… 1. They both know each other. Either the MC could just fall for anyone, or she could always put up an act. But no matter the outcome, she’s consistently flirtatious with the Dealer. 2. We learn that the Dealer doesn’t do frills, so to speak. He’s to the point, quick to dispense of distractions, and doesn’t get most of, or comments on MC’s signals until she makes it obvious. But when MC fails, the Dealer is quick to offer a word of caution, and when she succeeds, the Dealer offers a word of concern. He could be hiding feelings of, at least platonic care for MC’s wellbeing, in spite of her shortcomings and distractions. 3. It’s never answered how MC has gotten into the business, or how long, for that matter. She’s a knockout despite her lack or forgoing of social cues from the Dealer, able to consistently hide her tools, efficiently kill three separate body types and personalities, and presumably thoroughly cleaning any evidence of the new disappearances. The Dealer even calls her his favorite client.

He has his own views on relationship and all. How do people know that he's the one that's gonna be the asshole?

I think most people see him that way simply because the first guy was the one who said he wanted a relationship and wanted a connection with someone ut at the very end if you end up dating him you never see him again after the second date. He just up and ghosts the MC basically after talkingg about wanting someone and how he liked her and stuff like that. Thats just my guess though and I can kinda see it, the way it is worded to me more sounds like he lead the MC on in the date option the MC genuinely liked him. (MC genuinely likeing the guys in the date options is my own assumption and opinion and to others it may vary i know.)
