Hi and welcome to my channel! I'm Anna and while I normally make videos about gardening and DIY, I wanted to create some videos about my other passion - cars, especially amateur racing and vintage automobiles.
My husband and I loved our time at Thursday Night Thunder at Irwindale Speedway outside Los Angeles, California. For $20 per person, you can watch amateur racers and burnouts on Thursday nights starting at 5 p.m.
If you want to race your car, it's only $40 plus a tech card. I'm not sure how much a tech card costs, but I'm thinking about getting into my daily driver and taking it to the track. I'm planning to take you with me along the way.
Today we're just watching because I wanted to see if I would be able to participate myself. I'm a competitive person and I'm looking forward to my first race, but I enjoyed seeing the wide variety of vehicles present on Thursday night, August 15, including classic Chevrolet Camaros, Dodges galore, Ford Mustangs from almost every decade and even a racing semi!
