Healthy Dates & Walnut Cake - Father's Day Special ❤️ - Sugar Free

So soft, spongy & flavourful. This healthy cake is sugar free and even people with diabetes can have it, but obviously in limited quantity.

Preparation Time - 1 hour
Baking Time - 45-50 minutes
Ingredients
➡️ Seedless Dates - 1 cup tightly packed.
➡️ Milk - 1 cup
➡️ Whole Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
➡️ Baking Powder - 1 tsp
➡️ Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
➡️ Pinch of salt
➡️ Curd - 1/3 cup
➡️ Oil - 1/2 cup
➡️ Walnuts - 1/4 cup
➡️ Dates - 1/4 cup

Steps
➡️ Soak dates with warm milk for 1 hour. Blend and make purer.
➡️ Take a mixing bowl , sieve together whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt & baking soda.
➡️ Coat chopped dry fruits with dry flour as shown in the video, so that they don't sink in the cake while baking.
➡️ Transfer dates puree in another mixing bowl. Add oil, curd and mix it well. Add 2 tbsp water to mix it properly.
➡️ Mix dry and wet ingredients using cut & fold method. Also add 1/2 portion of dry fruits. Add 1/4 cup water if batter is thick.
➡️ Transfer the batter to lined baking tin, tap and garnish with leftover dryfruits.
➡️ For Oven
Preheat for 10 minutes. Bake @ 170 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
➡️ For kadhai
Preheat kadhai with salt and stand for 10 minutes. Bake on low to medium flame for 50-55 minutes.
➡️ For both oven & kadhai check cake after 35 minutes.
➡️ Enjoy with tea/ coffee
