WELCOME TO YUMMY
TODAY'S RECIPE IS Date Cake | Wheat Flour Date Walnut Cake | Eggless & Without Oven | Yummy
INGREDIENTS:
Date 1 cup (150gm)
Hot milk 1/2 cup
Soak for 30 mins
Blend until smooth
Oil 1/3 cup
Curd 1/4 cup
Wheat flour 1 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Milk 1/4 cup
Walnut 1/4 cup
Dates 2 tbsp
7 inch greased pan
Place a stand & preheated the for 5 mins on medium flame
After 5 mins place the mould
Cook it on medium low flame
For 35-45 mins
Or bake in a preheated oven at 180c
For 35-45 mins
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

Tried this recipe today with the exact measurements.Two changes I did - added 2 tbsp brown sugar in addition to dates, 50-50 of maida and wheat flour. Came out soft,tasty and moist.Thanks much.Took 43 min in 360F to bake

Awesome recipe thank you for sharing I made it in the oven 175 degree Celsius for 35 minutes. Small change I have used one egg instead of curd and it needed 1/4 more milk. Came out tasty and very soft adding to my easy cakes❤ from Australia

I tried this recipie and everyone who thinks how this turns out ...its beyond wonderful in taste,texture and look...I cud say jus wow...ive tried many cake recipies but i cudnt feel this moist and softness in them...i jus need to thank yummy for this recipie and this s the 1st recipie im tryng from this channel...am actually searching for healthy recipie and here it is. Ps:I added 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence also and did in the convection mode

Never gets cooked in 35-45min always takes more than an hour...approx 1:15mins.

Thanks for the tip.. i tried yesterday.. and the cake rose beautifully and as i removed it from oven after 45 mins it sank. It also had uncooked layer.. I will bake it for more next time

I made the cake it rose very well and got cooked at the edges and all the sides top and bottom as well but the centre remained wet and sticky Can u tell me why did this happen?
