Hollywood is a cesspool of deviant people. It's so awesome, to see someone your age, who "Gets it". Back when I was younger, which was a day or two ago, I remember dating in high school, and it was really challenging back in the 80s. Jump forward to nowadays, and it must be a total nightmare!

THANK GOD I AM NOT ALONE. This is exactly how I feel. I'm a 19 year old Christian woman and I wish there were more people who felt the same way as I do. I am saving myself for my future husband. I have never been in a relationship where a guy truly feels the same way about sex after marriage. I believe there is one woman for you, Atticus. I believe there is one man for me too. God wants us to find people at HIS time. Not OUR time. God has me on his path. God made our bodies to be temples and to be treasured. Wow! I can’t say this enough, you are absolutely amazing! We have a lot of the same views on topics like this, and a lot of people of our generation don’t really understand. So it’s nice to know that someone can relate to my way of thinking. I really would love to have a chance to get to know you as a friend and brother in Christ, but I understand if that's not exactly possible for you. Either way, never forget what a blessing you are to me and many others. And contenue to be that for as long as you live.

After watching Atticus latest video I had to come and watch this one. Being in the same generation it’s gratifying to know that I’m not the only one who has the same beliefs! I'm not a Christian or religious but I love that the definition you set out for. I'm waiting for marriage myself, so I love the idea of dating people to find your soulmate
I share the same beliefs. I believe in finding the one someday. We shouldn’t hurry love, it takes time, and one day we might find our partner. It’s seems like a pressure in today’s society to find a partner. But what if I’m not exactly looking, but enjoying my life, getting to know myself, and when someone gets my heart I will find out then. And our bodies are very holy. The most important thing is to know where we, ourselves are in life, and that we have friends, family to spend time with. Love will come our way, one day, eventually. God bless life for giving us emotions, and language to express ourselves with. And we are never truly alone, God loves us.

Hey Atticus! I’ve been binge watch The Middle and thought I’d look up some information on the cast. It was a great pleasure to read about you and your devotion to Christ (and also that you are from Santa Clarita, which is where I grew up). It fills my heart to see that there are more brothers and sisters in Christ in the entertainment industry. Part of the reason I left the industry was because of the lack of other believers, or at least proclaiming believers. After watching your channel and interviews you’ve done over the years, I believe I have made a mistake. We are to go out in the world and preach the Gospel, whether by word or in deed. Not if we feel comfortable around it or not. God has now shown me that my mission field is back in the entertainment industry. I praise God for your wisdom and platform to use it in. I will be praying for the Lord to bless you with more wisdom, strength and blessings. God bless you Atticus!

You are a very wise man of God, and He will bless you with an amazing wife! I used to think that the fact I have never dated was terrible, and it was all that I was: a girl with nothing. But once I grew in my faith God helped me realize it was a beautiful gift from Him, He didn't want me to waste those dating years with the wrong person and I am so grateful!

When I was very young I was obsessed with the idea that I would never find someone, it dominated my life for more years than I like to admit! So what you are saying is so true, and I wish I had known it when I was younger!! I have a wonderful spouse now, who has shown me more love than I have ever known before! Wow, this is very wholesome. While I have a different religious view from you, we share similar values on dating and relationships. It's quite surprising and amazing that someone with your level of exposure and in your industry still has these values. This is a wonderful video. I am a Christian and I trusted in God to bring me my husband and every one thought I was mad but God was faithful and brought me my husband he was from England and I was from Ireland .He is the perfect fit for me,we both love the Lord with all our hearts soul and mind.We got married have two boys now and we serve God together.He who honours God,God will honour.Keep trusting in Jesus he loves you and died for you .Bless you

Amen to that. It’s good to hear this from someone other than myself. I feel less crazy now lol. I thought dating and all that was hard for me but as an actor I couldn’t imagine. People our age thinks dating is all about one thing and using someone for a good time. It’s sad really. People use the word love as a tool and don’t mean it when they say they love someone. Sometimes I wonder if anyone truly loves anymore.
I agree with you on the word "love" being used wrongly, as an inappropriate tool. There are definitely people who love, deeply, and genuinely. I find, however, that a person cannot understand what real love is without knowing the One who IS and CREATED love. The Bible says we love, because He first loved us. If we look to Him, and His attributes, applying His instructions to our lives, it is only then we can truly understand what real love is.

I'm a Christian too (Spiritist). Which one do you follow? (Spiritism, Jehovah's Witness, Mormonism, protestanism, Catholicism, Church Of England, Greek Orthodox ect.).
I don't follow a specific group. (i.e. I'm not Mormon, Catholic, etc.) I believe every word in the Old and New Testaments are true, and Jesus Christ is my LORD and Savior.
I think what I want to make clear is that I'm not a member of a particular "religion" or church, but I am Christian. I am always open to entering a church that is Holy Spirit filled and Bible scripture based.
You should consider becoming a young adult or youth pastor. You are very good with how you communicate God’s word especially to your generation and younger.
i am the same way mr shaffer i made a vow to my mom and god when i was 9 and still keeping it i will not do the deed til i am married to my wife and i know in my heart she is out there, no matter how long it takes i will stay honorable to my word and will not falter im a virgin yes and 45 years old and i am happy cause i know one day ill meet the one the good lord has set for me and i agree with you on dating all the way making friends even best friends thats how i am also i do have faults but i do want to live the best way possible the good lord wants me too, god bless you and be safe always, and im a anthro artist been doing art since 1987 but thats for another story but no worries i dont do anything bad no worries all clean and good hearted art.
I was baptized at 6 yrs old but to be honest I feel like I was saved baptized when my mom was pregnant with me she got saved at 25 yrs of age ......there is more to any relationship than just sex you should be equals mentally , have the same heart as far as your own feelings emotions are concerned ....that being said just wanted to say your such a true brick Atticus Shaffer keep up the good work ....
Having seen you on The middle (one of my fav shows by the way 😊) I had no idea you are a Christian. It always nice seeing Christian actors and actresses in the world who speak confidently about their faith. I agree with everything you say as a Christian myself I pray and look forward to the day I meet my future husband. But I know that day won't be yet until I have done something for myself in my dream job. Praise to you and keep speaking your truth with God 😊
Everything you said, ahhhhh! I'm so happy, I found someone just like me in a guy version! I'm in a horrible abusive marriage, my two babies are suffering and so am I. You sir, my goodness, I cannot express in words how proud and overhead genuinely happy that I see someone who loves God the way I try to explain to my husband but sadly to say he won't accept. I feel like a single mom at times😔it's heartbreaking. Everything you said is what I tell my kids now and how important it is in God's perspective and how we should value ourselves. I was manipulated into my relationship without me knowing but God was the one who helped me know the truth. I'm 30when I was younger everything you said, was literally me but this happened. But I don't regret my kiddos, they are mini Me's, and the fact that I showed my son and said, "look!" he said "wow. He's a good person on the show and in real life!" I'm happy that you love God that much!

Oh my where were you when I was in my 20s. Just so you know. You are so correct. .met my husband at 40. We are besties and happy and it worked just as it was meant to
