Number one red flag is a woman who has been with another foreigner before you. You may already be an option.

And you guys are in the wrong region of the country thats why you guys have these perception of the so called "filipina" fast tracked women. Go up north, way north, no one will even strike up a conversation with you guys, unless these women are from beerhouses.

After chatting with a lady for about 3 months, I told her I was coming to meet her. She said she couldn't spend time with me because her family would not accept me as a foreigner. I didn't buy the plane ticket, obviously. I think she just enjoyed all the attention of men on the dating website. It was an ego boost for her.

Great seeing you guys together in this video!!! I agree that Western women are not the long term partners we want. Their attitudes and selfish ways are to much to handle and not worth the effort. And even tho a Filipina moves prerty fast into a relationship their affection is fantastic. Not talking about sex - talking about the little things they want to do for their man every single day. I am married and divorced twice and stayed single 20 years with the same mindset as Paul. However now I love being with my Filipina and look forward to spending every day with her. Solid video. I think marrying someone before meeting them is absolutely insane. You couldn't even pay me a large sum of money to do that. I would need to be in a relationship in person with someone for a minimum of 2 years before I would even consider marriage. I also agree with you both about the minimum of 6 months before moving in with someone too.

Gio we aren't clingy, trust me. Well, maybe I am wrong. Some are clingy esp when they get what they want. But when a woman is confident, a woman will always wait for a man to strike up a convo but never the other way around. Be careful here in the Philippines, because to many you guys could be their stepping stone.

From what I have been noticing. FEMENISM is spreading in PHils very fast. Lots of the city girls are taken on the "strong and independent dont need a man" mentally. They are starting to act very entitled. Other parts of Asia are starting to look like a better option

Guys you both talked to me in the past . I just got divorced i had the big yellow house in sation near the bus station. And one in mahol . I had to give her the homes. I keeped one in usa. She cheated about the hole time we where married. Anyways I would love to come back to the philippines I’m comfortable in Dumagette but think it’s best to look somewhere different. I have a buddy in Iloilo going to come in June for a month start there and look around. Any suggestions. Don't let dates get into your house. They have a plethrra of tricks to stay or go through your stuff the first time you use the cr. If you get them out they will leave something behind to use as an excuse to come back.

Well, as a Filipino guy, to tell you honestly, Filipino guys don't compete with expats when it comes to women because women who are hunting for expats are different from those simple women who are wife material for Filipino guys. Most educated Filipino men prefer women who have jobs and not those who are in survival mode like many of these women who are hunting for expats. Most Filipino men also don't like single moms....It's a culture and tradition thing and this is the reason why we have an increasing population... If you don't believe me, try looking for a working single woman (not a single mom) in her 30s if you can find one... unless you are at her age, a single working Filipina in her 30s won't be bothered by 60-year-old retired white.

There’s a fine line between being nice and being naive and I think when you go there and see the living conditions and what westerners are accustomed to we wanna be that knight in shining armour. Unfortunately you soon discover that girlfriends new home becomes an open invite to everyone she knows. I swear it’s some sort of charm with Filipinas that people take to not just in a romantic sense. When my Nan god rest her soul first met my girlfriend she instantly took to her and women in general she wasn’t like that with anyone.

A foreigner from a developed country (USA) who comes to a developing country (P.I) should understand he is going to be highly desired by the local women. Initially if he will try to enjoy the experience while it lasts, understanding it probably won’t, he will save himself a lot of problems. As Paul says, “slow down”, for a while until you learn how to spot the girlfriend-type girl compared to one who is trying to take advantage of you.

I would be a poor one to ask about dating disasters in the PH. I really have never dated a Filipina in the 4 yrs. that I have been here. Ne picked me up at the A/P & we have been together ever since. I was blessed to meet my only one on Messenger when I wasn't looking for a GF. I was working at the time.

I got pretty lucky I met my wife online but I had full intention of coming to the Philippines and within 3 months of meeting her online I had my boots on the ground.

imho, the six-month slow down period does not guarantee anything, because the girl can also wait for six months before she gets you to buy her a house and then leaves you.

Men need to be on the look out, if you are 50 or 60 and a young 20y old approaches you, its not for your love. If you live on a pension and are barely getting by, having to support a young women most of the time her kids and family its a sure way to bankrupt. Its sad but so many men are stupid when it comes to love.

Excellent video, even though I have no intention of going to the Phillipines or dating women (I'm too old). I have learned a few things; when you get involved with a woman you get involved with her entire family. No-one reveals their true selves in the early stages of a relationship. Often people's true personality comes out when facing difficulties or stressful situations.

That was an interesting chat guys. At my age now, I like the honeymoon period the best. They are all great for a while, but give it six months, a year or even three years, it all changes. Moving someone in leads to drama if ever you want them to move out, and I’ll certainly never marry again. Nothing to gain, but everything to lose. Just enjoy the good times while they last, and move on when they end.

The idea of a person being "exotic" is sort of creepy. NGL to you Gio. All said, you're not wrong. Slow the fuck down. I say that people who want to be apart of a dating scene should make friends. This applies to both guys and girls and this doesn't just apply to the philippines. This applies globally. You make friends, maybe one you'd like to pursue a relationship with or maybe one who introduces you to someone you want a relationship with. I met my girl directly and took our friendship to the next level but i've also met girls through my friends as well.

With Filipinos Men and Women, most of the time, the couple literally move in together after they got married, and in most cases, they would live together with either the Woman's or the Man's family. Specially in the remote areas or provinces, Filipino women live with their family even after they are married. It is uncommon that Men or Women have their own place. In many ways, you are not going to have a relationship, or date, or marry just the woman, but her entire clan.

I agree with a lot of what you were saying. I would add that some Filapinas just don't what they really what in a partner. I know quite a few that don't know how to manage money, but are good with the sob story.
