I was about to go out on a date with this Christian guy on Bumble. But I'm currently testing out his faith. It seems like spiritually he is not yet there but I'm thinking of going out with him to see if he really is a follower of Christ. I don't see anyone at Church that could be my potential husband since there's barely any young adult & I live in Switzerland. He is okay with kissing and cuddling but sex till marriage. I told him my boundaries no kissing cause it might lead into temptation. Going on this date with no expection, just as friends. Guarding my heart.

This might be strange for a guy but I won’t deny that I’ve always longed to be married, but that longing has grown stronger over the past year or so, as I am quickly approaching 30 and have never really been in a relationship, plus quarantine was quite lonesome, so this video really came at a perfect time. I have reasonably high standards for what I’m looking for in a woman and definitely have boundaries in mind but the things you stated in this video go above and beyond, and I truly do respect that, huge props to your parents for instilling such great values upon you and your sister… my standards seem pretty low when compared to those and even so, sometimes I feel like I’ll never find someone compatible, plus my situation doesn't help; I live in a very liberal UK city and besides the fact that my heart is set on finding an American woman (which is unlikely to happen), so-called Christians here really don’t have any morals or values, they pick and choose which parts of the Bible fit their own beliefs that are influenced by society, and while I'm probably what you'd consider "lukewarm" and certainly no saint, I know what the Bible says is right and wrong and I try my best to obey God, I don't compromise on Biblical values to "fit-in" and I am working on the areas in my life where I lack faith and Biblical guidance, I have been trying hard to get closer to God and I stay away from sins like lust, not only for my own relationship with God but also because I want to ensure that if he ever does bless me with a wife, it won't come between us and our shared relationship with God. I 100% agree that the goal in life is Jesus (the main/ultimate goal), but marriage is still a huge goal in life, as you said, God created man and woman to be together, the Bible makes it clear that marriage is important and sacred and we must know that when one man and one woman come together in marriage to serve each other and, most importantly, to serve God, we please and honour him!

Amen! spot on sis. on the practical side: going straight to courting without the background of friendship is really unwise, because guys who court as soon as they meet the girl will obviously always put their "best foot forward" aka.. "putting on a mask" so girls... make sure, there is friendship first... as a "reconnaissance period" so you wont fall into a trap.. if not, you will end up with a guy you never knew...

When I date people I'm looking for a future wife.I been praying for a wife since my late teens, early 20's. In my 30's now and never even got a single date. Years ago I thought God showed me my future wife but she was already married.

How old were you when you started courting? Should you wait till your an adult or late teen? Ik you said we need to be completely dependent on Jesus 1st, but what if your at that point but still in middle school? (Which I feel is too young)

1. Have Jesus as your first love always no matter what if your single or married. 2. Keep God as the centre of the relationship/ marriage it’s the only way that’s for sure! 3. Pray always for your future hubby/wife as you wait on God to bring them to you. So I have a question for you Hannah and I know this might be a very difficult question for ask to myself I have a friend in my church who I love and I look up to she has told me her testimony but she’s not really around my age but she is married and she has children about three kids she told me that she lived in Texas and she went to this apostolic church and there is a preacher was not really living right for God and he was still preaching and he thought he had a word from God that she should get married to this man and all I’m gonna say she was pure pressured to marry this man and that is awesome that we have to make Jesus our main priority not just marriage. So what do we do in that type of situation if we’re not in a church that has a godly preacher and he’s not living right and he thinks he has a word from God that these two should get married what do we do about that situation.

What are your thoughts on God answering people accordingly to the idols of their heart? Romans 1:24-26-28 Ezekiel 14. There are two prime examples of this in Scripture. Numbers 22-24 God said to Balaam: "Do Not go with them". Then He says "Go with them". Saying "No" to Samuel in regards to giving a kind. Then telling them "Give them a king" There's more. But that should give a general idea.
