I debated the Bonestone & Earthflesh for a longtime. I would see the three of cups and go "YES!" then see the fool and go "NO!" I didn't back but i do know the history and story behind it but once I got my hands on it and used it I was so happy I did. I had to let go of the history as it is a deck, it is not the situation behind the creation of it. I found that once I did that I was able to connect to it so well and use it for all my spirit work. I keep trying to connect to the Green Witch but I barely pull it off the shelf. I originally got it to fill my fall/winter season deck change but I never seem to be able to read with it.

hi Dawn, I love your videos. I don't often comment but I felt the need here - I do not own it but I 200% agree about the Bonestone. The energy around it is like a brick wall, even to me who never ordered it. Far too much BS surrounds it for so long before it was released - at least if you do decide to break up you know it is worth while =) My forever loves include the Llewellyn & the Green Witch, also Druidcraft, Tarot of the Sidhe and ... well, you know. The list goes on.

I don't blame you on the Bonestone. I found out about it after the Kickstarter and was confused, thinking it was for preorder and I wasn't understanding something, and I got a message from the creator that seemed a bit curt, so I just put on my list to worry about later and forgot about it. I looked it up later and it seemed like the creator's channel was mostly angry updates aimed at folks who were upset about timelines. Totally understand that life is hard and people can get nasty when a Kickstarter is late, so I don't blame her for feeling that way! But whenever I tried to get more info on the deck or images I just kept being directed to these kind of ranty messages that weren't about the deck itself, and once it finally started shipping and there were images, I couldn't remember why I wanted the deck in the first place! Makes sense that maybe there's something energetically off about it since it seems to have been created in the midst of a lot of turbulent emotions. Seeing yours, that tree with the stars spilling out is gorgeous, and I'd bet anything that's why I was into it at first. I do really like the images that don't contain humans, and if it were $30 or something, I'd buy a copy, but at however many hundreds or thousands it's stelling for... nah.

That's kinda my thoughts exactly. The energy got so toxic around it for me that I left all the groups and channels. I thought maybe after some distance it would help, but it really hasn't changed anything. That's okay, I have plenty of other decks that I adore. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

One of the best tags ever! Much more interesting than "top 5's" etc. I've really been enjoying Candy's content. Cosmic Tarot is one of my first decks and I still love it. I like the art style of Forager's Daughter much more than Hush. Hush just looks like a big mess to me...LOL. Big, bold and bright is my thing...love Morgan Greer. Totally with you on Bonestone....so glad I wasn't part of the drama, don't like the artwork, it gives me weird vibes. You could sell that deck in a hot minute. Totally agree on Bohemian Gothic. It's either on or off with that deck. This was fun! Thanks for sharing your picks!

Oh I think the Hush tarot is going to give a super deep vibe to the Oak Ash and Thorn once you get that deck.... can't wait to see them together!! I love watching this tag. I find it super interesting those decks like the Star Child for you, where the deck is just ok or beautiful but then reads like a dream and really surprises you!! Have you read the Bonestone and Earthflesh guide book yet? Maybe that will help you since you really like a good guide book. The Bohemian Gothic seems like a trickster deck.. I find with those decks it helps to use other decks to unlock it.

I hadn't thought of pairing my Hush with Oak Ash and Thorn when it gets here, that's a great idea! I'll have to try that. I love those decks that take you by surprise too! I haven't read the Bonestone guidebook, not sure I want to to be honest lol. I'll probably end up selling that deck, especially since there still seems to be toxic energy and reactions around it! 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

Morgan Greer daddy energy FTW I adore that deck. Bonestone and Earthflesh I missed and regretted it a lot and then after watching flipthroughs, the energy around it, the creators not planning for reprints... and the greedy ones instantly re-selling brand new decks for 500$ and above... I bought 1 print of my favourite card from the artist, and was over the "want this deck" real good.

This was so fun! And already had the Morgan Greer deck in my cart (child of the 70’s here!), but there’s a cute tin version too? Oh no, I’ll probably rationalize why I need both. ...And pretty sure I’m going to cave and impulse buy the Forager’s Daughter as well. So beautiful. ...I’m scared to watch the Dating playlist, your videos alone get me into enough trouble. :)

I've seen so many people debating the Hush lately, guess we're all too enamored of the art to let it go. Don't have Bonestone but it's okay not to love what's popular (for me it's Pagan Otherworlds). Thanks for sharing!

Aw when you mentioned the price of the Cosmic Tarot I got really excited but I can't find it for less than $35 (CAD) so it'll just have to go on my list of decks I'm interested in. So many of these decks are beautiful! I really have to remind myself to not purchase every gorgeous and interesting deck I come across haha. I've intentionally lived my life in a non-busy way. Yes, I have those adult responsibilities that I need to do, but aside from that I try to keep a slow pace. My problem is sometimes falling too deeply into that pace!

I feel you on the Bonestone.... mines still in the box...I’ll be like this is the week I’ll work with it and I get it out and go thru the cards and I’m like ooh pretty then I put back in the box and on the shelf...I just have no feelings for it.... but I’m still not ready to give it up just yet...frustrating Great Video!!

@@RoseHoneyRitual its the pre order purchase in July of 2017 (the first run of preorders) and due out in in dec of 2018 and not receiving until very late in 2020 and all the drama that goes with it.

I like that edition of the Starchild... the images resonate with me better than I thought they would. I prefer them over the Akashic Morgan Greer was one the first mass market decks that appealed to me... I like the close up images. I never bought it but I am considering buying the tin version. Bonestone is really colorful and has great art. When I first saw it I wanted it (even though I was too late) but the more I learned about it I realized how much negative energy is connected to the deck. In spite of this, I’m sure you’ll have plenty of people trying to get your deck lol

Lol that is very true, several people have offered to take it off my hands. I'm going to give it a bit longer, maybe try a cleansing of some sort, but right now it's got some heavy energy attached to it. The Starchild is lovely, I prefer the first edition to the Akashic one as well, that one never really appealed to me. But I do love this edition. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

I enjoyed seeing the variety of decks that came up for you in this prompt! I am looking forward to the reprint of Bonestone & Earthflesh, especially since the guidebook is supposed to be excellent. Maybe reading it would help you to connect? The deck I keep breaking up with and being drawn back to is the Field Tarot. It's the Strength card, especially --- no animal of any kind! I know it's just come out mass market, and that the card stock would be less "sticky", but I am now going back and forth about whether that would make a difference 😃

Hi! Love your video to this tag! Speaking about Hush tarot - as far as I know, art was done for this tarot deck not repurposed for tarot, so maybe you can look at these cards and try to understand artist imagination

Funny the BoneStone looks so similar to the Llewellyn deck, to me. I really don't understand the fevour for bonestone, that gilding is ugly. But something is missing from the images.

I really enjoy your Channel and watch everything you upload. I agree with your selection about the Hush Tarot. I received a 2nd hand copy last week and I am not sure it is for me but I'll try and work with it. As for the Bonestone, although lovely artwork, I havn't connected with it. There is just something not quite right for me. Whether it is the depiction on some of the cards, the flaky gilding or the energy surrounding tbe deck. However, I have used it a couple of times for reading with younger clients from Brazil and found it reads well for them. They resonate with this deck.

I haven't edged either of those decks (I only have the Muse) so I don't really have a color recommendation. But if you check out the Tarot with Scissors facebook group, I know a ton of people in there have edged those decks and you can see what colors they used. 🙂 Thank you for watching! ❤️

I am always thinking about having the tin version of the Morgan Greer just in case is my forever love 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Do I need it? No but if someday I can travel again hahaha I may need it. The Hush looks amazing andi want it but maybe I will never read with it so...... and Bonestone and earthflesh.... I think the art doesnt help. I dont like it and it ok that there is something you dont like. Many people will hate me but I dont feel anything about the Spirit's keepers tarot. I just dont 🤔

Bonestone doesn’t appeal to me, though I appreciate the art. I am, however, looking forward to the release of her Tarot of the Abyss. The images I’ve seen of that deck have the level of symbolism I appreciate. It would also be my only black and white deck.
