I have to say he denied the other man's rights, the mother also. Or the mother mainly. They real dad didn't cause a mess back then, and he could have. Legally and physically, I don't know who would of won, or who might of used weapons. Also he wanted his baby, that's foul. He clearly did the same type of job as the guy she thought was her dad. She had a similar upbringing, so he wasn't a bad father. She even worked with on of her sisters. I mean this isn't fair. He did raise her the same, but the father was willing and capable, but chose to back down. Should he have pushed the issue when she was a baby?

I think so too..he forgave his wife for cheating on him. He loved his wife and took the child as his own.

And I feel that Mr. Thompson was aware of the fact, that’s why he had peace of mind that his daughter is taken care, that’s why he never stepped up.

Thats not a good man if he knew, denying the real father from knowing his own daughter all those years, that speaks of a selfish person.

Because he stayed and WAS a father to this young lady, she appears to be a very nice, well adjusted woman. Only little boys use the excuse of blaming women for why they behave like little boys when you're supposed to be a grown man. At what point in life does a male have to accept responsibility for their actions as adults? You can't blame women your whole life for the things YOU do. Are males like you going to just whine your whole life about your slacking mother? Maybe they weren't married yet (which is what I think). That was never specifically established. They just said Mr. Fresneda married her. They also said @ the time Mr. Thompson came in the picture, Ms. Robinson & Mr. Fresneda had "broken up" not "separated". Since it cost money 2 change ur name, & the mom was clearly sticking 2 her lie, & Mr. Fresneda didn't leave, why get her name changed?! Same last name or not, her & her siblings all believed Mr. Fresneda was their dad. Altho heartwarming, his episode was a trip!

And she should have never did dat cause if u have a real man in ur life u should have appreciated him more by giving the child his last name cause he's already her biological father from being married to her mom. The biological father says the mother was in a happy relationship but apparently she was in a 'break' with the legal father. I think she knew but we know that it's really weird be in a 'break', get pregnant and expect that your partner will accept raise a baby that it's not his but from a rebound.

He did not know he asked her was this my baby because I think people said something and he said once she said this is your child he went ahead and accepted it and went on and raise them

I think all the adults knew. It was unfair not to tell her since she could dated or been with a relative and not known. I'm glad she had a good man to raise her and knows the truth now.

I disagree. Times have changed compared to yesteryear. What is more acceptable today may not have been the same years ago. At least she kept the child and give her up for adoption or to another family member. The mother did what was best. It looks like everything turned out ok.

Children who have only single moms, placed in the foster children system or was having trouble with doing the right things to stay out of trouble. The program give these children place to be creative, know that people do care, and to learn different skills. At the end of the program they could sell or showcase what they created. These program have helped many children. Basically I start the programs and let other people continue to carry out the work. So everything happens for a reason. God is great he proves it to me everyday by all the miracles I see as I observe and listen

Bosslady1 - I think Mr Fresnada was in jail and Mrs Fresneda wanted to play while he was away- She didn’t want to admit to her husband that she was messing around while he was “away”. Mr Thompson should have pressed harder to be tested when the Mother was alive. Why do these people mess with children’s lives so much? Mrs Fresneda needed to step up and be real- 29 years gone and now this young lady must change her reality!

Joy to you and me with him having strong feelings is not enough to disrupt the family if the mother is hard core that it's not yours! If he had press and then he was wrong he would've gotten blame for breaking the family.. Her family would've been more able to get her change the story but even them couldn't convince her, as per her sister's testimony..

He stated she insisted the child was her husband's, and he felt it was best to respect her choice to deny him, for the sake of her family situation. Where do you derive he was a player? I think he would have had a healthy relationship with her for all 29 years, if he had been allowed to do so.
