Prophet Muhammad s.a w suffered in silcence when they tortured them in Meccah and kicked them out to live in a valley to starve to death. There was no rebellion. You didn't even listen to the lecture. May Allah make you even more ignorant and unbearable. Ameen.

I hear Shaykh Hamza Yusuf for many years now. He never claimed such things you are accusing him of. Have taqwa!

One of the signs of the end of times is that the liar will be considered truthful and the truthful person will be considered a liar. Obviously we see this in Gaza, where our oppressed people are demonized, the truth of their suffering denied and constantly questioned. The oppressors are glorified as moral victims and defenders of civilization, their lies and propaganda upheld as ultimate truths. Allah knows best, but I believe Sh. Hamza is also a truthful person who has been maligned and unjustly called a liar. He says that he never supported normalization and he wants Palestine to be free. He has been misrepresented on this and other issues in recent years. Furthermore, I do question your intentions on filling the comments with distracting messages not relevant to this lecture. So you don’t agree with him on Gaza. What does that have to do with this lecture? Is he no longer a scholar because you disagree with him? Does no one else have the right to learn Islam from him because you disagree with him? Who exactly benefits from your attempts to cancel him on general Islamic lectures? Please be more considerate in your disagreements. Limit your opinions to discussions where it is relevant. Please do not stop people from learning about Islam or try to negate Sh. Hamza’s good deeds - sabotaging his lectures - because you don’t like him.

What does this have to do with this lecture?! I don’t agree with everything Sh. Hamza Yusuf says but he is still far more knowledgeable than me and I have learned so much from him over the years and continue to learn so much. What gives you the right to sabotage any of his lectures just because you disagree with him? It’s a disrespect to your brother who is a scholar and a disrespect to your brothers and sisters who have a right to learn from him if they wish.

And btw, in the Quran, it’s called “sabrun jameel” in Surah Yusuf when Yaqub(a.s.) suffered in silence when he lost his son Yusuf (a.s.). Of course, it completely depends on the context and situation. Allah knows best.

Please explain fully what exactly Imam Ghazali meant that Sh. Hamza got wrong, since you claim to know. This seems to be more of a complaint on Sh. Hamza’s comments re: Al-Aqsa than anything to do with this lecture. Please limit your disagreements and comments to the appropriate lecture. And please be respectful of others.
