Would like a sisters of silence story where she goes on a mission and sacrifices her self for the greater good but in doing so she falls to chaos Doesnt need to be a sister of silence...but i feel there's something there like a mother pushing her child out of the way of incoming traffic type of thing...but we the listeners are the children
@@Towlie666 There are cases of Sororitas falling to Chaos, and they aren't celibate. Doesn't even have to be Chaos, could just go Renegade by self imposed exile.
How about sisters of silence who encounter space wolves on their hunt, join forces and crush some thousand sons together? Just like the good old days when prospero burned!
To feel sorrow for the corrupt is to step closer to granting them mercy. Weep not for the heretic, for they held to little faith. for if they were faithful, they would deny chaos their souls. The emperor grants us the strength to deny these thoughts of weakness, and the will to purge any and all who deny his willful rule of all mankind. (Some commissar, probably)
Wow, I thought this was from a novel. I'd love to hear more stories from the point of view of a blank (sister of silence). Compelling writing, sir. A+ Thank you.
The Emperor Legión are some of the most powerful warriors within the Imperium and the Sisters of Silence are a reminder that they are his talon and the blade to silence the Daemons of the Warp and their appearance is that nothing of the never borne will remain.
Fucking amazing work as always, the black library audio books seem like a child's Christmas play compared to the setting of tone and atmosphere like you guys do.
Well it was definitely nice to actually get to watch a video at premier again and I really enjoyed the video especially the humanization of a faction that is normally left to the background, now if you will excuse me I still have a Despoiler to finish painting so that it can join my Chaos Knights Dread Household
Excellent writing and narration, Vox in the Void! Weep, ye Sisters of Silence. Though necessary be the grim task that must be yours alone, weep and be not joyful, for it will take the innocent and the sinful alike.
Always so pleasantly dark, though as a father of nine with four daughters including a 10 year old, it sickens me even to hear mention of children involved in a Slaneeshie cult.
@sadwingsraging3044 Do not bring conspiracy theories here you absolute nonces. I get you like the movie but it has little to do here. Your conspiracies of global PDF cabals are are about as true as the “true story” that movie is based off of. Quit being weird, all you do is embarrass yourself.
"We are mute but not without power, we are silent but not without resolve, we are untouchable but not without courage, we are sisters and have but one father. We are seekers and we shall find our prey, we are warriors and woe to those we oppose, the Emperor's mark is on our brow, all who deal with the Warp must beware, His Judgement and vengeance is ours to deliver!"
Mr. James Crowell, what an amazing story you have created!! Simply perfect. And no one on Terra could’ve given it the proper justice as Vox in the Void always does with his unique talent of story telling and legendary voice!!!
@@jamescrowell1788 The Sisters of Silence are my favorite out of all the factions in 40k. My dear Sir, you nailed it with this story. I truly hope that you give us more!! Bravo Sir, well done, and thank you for sharing your talent with us!!
@@greatamazinga Oh dude that makes me so psyched!! I was trying to give some love to factions people never wrote about, and when I learned about them, I just had to do something
Super looking forward to this, thanks for drawing attention to how cool the Anathema Psykana are! Not nearly enough attention from GW or the fans as a whole in my opinion
love your videos man grear job as always .. every Warhammer youtuber make the same videos space marine imperium . can we get some Necrons Eldar Dark Eldar lore maybe Chaos weapons demonc blades there re so many with so many diff abilities . maybe some Chaos Titans lore . or weapons with special abilities in general like Chrone blades from Eldar . Emperors blades etc . plssss
Damn the sisters of silence are awesome! Golden chicks with huge swords fighting demons and witches. And they have the best quality a woman can have: they dont speak!
@LiveFromTheRedRiver89they also don't have sex and would probably be in hot water if they did They also really don't like outsiders or men They are weapons first and foremost and barely anything outside their duty and mission
A great story, and such an amazing performance of vocalizing. Thank both of you for this beautiful peace. I think it is alright to say, fair is fair, and make the characters simply imposibly strong, if the setting calls for it. I mean 3 woman whose strenght enhanced by their robotic suit of power armor. Their every waking seconds are practice of shooting and stabbing. Against dozens of club wielding peasants. I think we can go ASTARTES on this story, we don't have to lower the capabilities of our heros, just because they would be overpowered against their enemies. I think we should create strong enemies instead. Amd strive to always think, always visualize : like; is that a powersword that she is carrying. If so, how does it get stuck in meat? If that is not a powersword, well, why isnt it, who would go to battle in 41 millenia with first milenia weapons. Great read nonetheles, thank you for this beauty. 😊
And we can try to visualize as we read or write, like; how does it look, a great sword? Maybe a meter long? Longer? A hero, trying to slash at charging creatures with it over and over again, in close quarters. It sounds glorious, yet not very real, isn't it? A dagger-like thing solves this problem. Or mass reactive bolt rounds that explode upon impact, against unarmored peasants. And they keep charging (because they are possed, i understand, and it is a good point). Yet would they have a body that they can charge with, after they exploded? Even though they are possesed, they won't be having legs and arms to charge wouldn't they? The complete "not caring about peasants' weapons would be so delighted here, just think about the grim dark of poor (although possesed) civilians with medieval scyths and clubs trying to harm walking tanks. Funny and sad at the same time. These would make these already great story even more magnificent.
@galadtirin I read this less as 3 women beating up on a handful of farm peasants, and more as 3 trained killers hacking down hundreds of deranged pleasure cultists, incapable of feeling pin and fighting beyond the point it would cause death. I think they’re being vague with numbers so that the prose is easier to follow and isn’t bogged down in unbelievability. In my own head I imagined hundreds of cultists dying, but that’s just me.
Unpowered blades still have their use in the 41st Millennium for the same reason that you still find contemporary soldiers carrying combat knifes and even tomahawks into battle these days. 40,000 years of evolution has not made baseline humans any less vulnerable to bleeding like a stuck pig when poked with something sharp and pointy. That said, the Imperium's bladesmithing technology and materials science are far in advance of our own. Monomolecular-edged blades provide incredible cutting ability without the limitations of powered weapons i.e. needing a source of power; emitting distinctive audible and visual signatures; increased cost, complexity, and maintenance. Even Astartes make use of unpowered monomolecular-edged combat knives, so a Sister of Silence wielding an unpowered sword in combat isn't entirely ridiculous. After all, most of the time, the Sisters of Silence _aren't_ engaging enemies clad in powered armour.
Ahh, Tortle-Man, Schwarzvogel, thank you both for these replies. Both of them have wonderfull points, that made me enjoy this beautiful story even more. I have reimagined according to those points and relistened, i enjoyed it even mpre than the first time. That says alot about both the quality of the material/great voice of voxinthevoid and the quality of the replies from you two. :)
They are the rarest and perhaps most true of our Lord's servants, for no man, Astartes, primarch or life ward of our Emperor are truly immune to the perils of the great enemy. They are the implacable volition of our empire's body. They are souless, they are terrifying, and they are a necessary abomination of the soul of humanity - a twisted miracle with a grim fate and grim task.
Decent story but the executioner great blade is a power sword and would not get stuck in a human sternum or clashing with a rusty farm tool it should be going through flesh and cheap farm tools like a lightsaber astartes have been cleaved apart by these swords no way anything in a random town is going to stop it.
Hey, is there any new or ones you plan on making a video about, horror WH40K stories? They are my favorite and I'm just curious if you have any you've planned on making a video about? Regardless I love your videos, amazing voice and incredible way presentation. ❤
