There is something about Daughtry that holds a special place in my heart. Their music has so much sentimental value to me, and they’re hideously underrated. This is real music, not what’s out nowadays. It’s simple, but it means something. It has soul. Something that music that you hear on the radio today doesn’t have. There are certain things you can’t put a price on.

I remember listening to this song when I was in my cab travelling to office for night shift on a rainy evening, half sleepy and half awake, my mind was a little disoriented, looking through the window I could see cold rainy streets... All I could do was move my fingers to replay this song once it ended... It was euphoria.

He is great. My two favorite songs are "Home" and "Life after you". Those two songs make feel happy and sad at the same time. Full of emotions.

A lot of things were going on with me at this time. A transfer with my job a breakdown on the side of the road 6 1/2 miles from work and it was August that year it all happened. A few weeks after transferring with my job.Guess what song was playing on the radio? Talk about laughing every time I hear this song or think about it. I was alone walking on the side of the road, trying to get to where I needed to be. Then out of the blue this little ol lady could have been 80 or older stopped asked where I was going and gave me a ride to work. I asked what I owed her and she said:” Nothing but you do owe the next person you come across the same blessing that God afforded you today” It gave me chills I’ll never forget that day or this song she saved me from heat exhaustion that day. Lol!!!

2006-2008 was a great year for music. What happened?

I can't wait till it Feels Like Tonight! I will be at the concert in Waukegan, IL. on 9/11. Plus, I will be meeting Daughtry and his band before the show! So, I can't wait to Feel Like Tonight. I did have tickets to see Daughtry in March of 2020. But wasn't able to go. I was in the hospital after the second surgery, I had and wasn't able to walk. The doctors told me I wasn't going to be able to walk again. Well. One and ah half years later. I am walking, with ah stagger, but unassisted, by cane, chair or walker. So, I cannot describe the emotions I will have on 9/11. A tragic day in itself. I am just excited about being able to walk again. We all have it in us. Use your strength of your mind, your body and soul!
