One of the all-time best songs. I listen to this when I need to feel "home." His voice is just unreal and he might even sound better live/acoustic than the recorded version.

I really feel this song right now. I am currently thinking about coming home, lost my home during COVID, been here and there, unsure where to live, and still thinking about coming back to the place where life was always good.

I had one of best friends pass away in 2014 .we worked together earlier in 2012 he was having,depression anxiety and he said if I die play Daughtry at my funeral isaid OK what song home .he loved that band he took his last breath in my hands at work on May 7 2014 .it breaks my heart when I hear that band it's sad he left 4 kids behind he loved them so much but memories are to remember thanks for the song needed that.

I, too, watched his performances on American Idol, and I really liked him. His music is spot on, beautiful and who doesn't like a raspy voice that can belt it out with lyrics to boot? I don't want I don't want any answers because that is a rhetorical question. His song here, and there gives me hope with a very severe, knowing that anyone going against the statements; otherwise, known as lyrics amend swiftly. They, too, have the right to choose to go to hell. So I altered, a few words in the song to indicate that. Praise God, Amen:)
