Drove in Davao Coastal road yesterday Very amazing View . You can see Big waves along the coastal road. I think it Will be nice to see people surfing , kite and paddle boarding and Will be the next surfing capital in the South.

Darrell's Knowledge and passion for his museum was so infectious. I didn't know I wanted to go to a bone museum until I saw this. I would want him to lead me on a tour of the museum with all that he knows about the specimens and with his familiarity with where they came from. I can't say it enough, but Lily is so darling! So much fun to watch her playing and the way she interacts with you. You'll never regret the time you make for her. What a blessing!🙏💯 That spread at Masing's looked absolutely amazing! Impressive, Kumander D! 👍Happy to see you promoting Davao. One thing you would notice there is the discipline. The peace and order in Davao is sacred compare to Manila or Cebu. Cleanliness and orderliness is must in Davao. 1.) Curfew for minors from 10pm to 5am. 2.) No Karaoke/Videoke after 12 midnight. 3.) Firecracker ban 4.) No smoking in public places. 5.) No drinking liquor in public places / Liquor ban. 6.) Shirtless or half-naked is prohibited in public places. And many more city ordinances. No disrespect to Japan and Singapore but Davao is not far when it comes to DISCIPLINE. The law (peace) and order in Davao City is implemented very strictly. Credit to the DUTERTEs. By the way, to the Military and Police in the Philippines the only airport that you can take a rest and get some free snack and coffee/drink is in Davao City airport. It's called 'Heroes Lounge'. Credit to then Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte. When PRRD became the 16th President he doubled the salary of the men in uniform (AFP, PNP, PCG, BUCOR, BFP, BJMP). 👊❤🙏

I live in the hills of Antipolo but the urban traffic mess is creeping up and a friend from Tagum has been telling me how nice the Davao area is progressing. No I have lived in Gulf view for 18 years....and this is not a good thing here...no more beach....no more beach resort....the park for kids is too hot, no shade like before....traffic noise and exhaust....it was like living in a little but of a country place....now it is like living in Manila....The Beach was a natural area, that could have been used for hotels...tourism.....instead, they turned it into an urban blight. The only good part is faster driving....but they could have built the road west of the city....1000's of poor fishermen around our area were displaced....

Thank you for this video! :) My family and I visited Coastal Road yesterday (July 16) to check out the place. We live on the opposite side of the city, so it was a bit of a drive. The place is vast and really cool for anyone who wants to spend a laid-back weekend on the seawall. The park is also huge, although it's a bit incomplete in terms of facilities. I was surprised by how crowded it was. I guess it was because it was a weekend, and the school break had just started. Even so, I felt like the area was not safe yet. There was a lack of security, and I didn't see any CCTVs or police officers in the area. I hope that the authorities will devise a security system for the area soon. It would be a shame for such a beautiful place to be unsafe.

Ngbakasyon ako August last year at pumunta kmi jan dahil mlapit lang bahay nmin Puan area.. Anganda grabe lalona yung dalawang Park nila.hindi man kmi nkapasok dahil oras lang ito bukas from 5 to 8am.. dumating kmi 7.50am in time na ngsara na cla 😞 Hanggang talomo palang ang natapos noon pero sobrang ganda nya ang lapad ng kalye... thank kumander Daot for featuring the road opening of Davao's coastal highway 😍

I see roundabouts (rotundas) are integrated with Philippine roads and highways. As OFW who worked and drive in the Middle East for more than 12 years and coming home for good, it's funny but sad to see most drivers here in Philippines does not know the rules of a roundabout. Everybody just enters the circle anytime they like without realizing vehicles that area already inside the circle are priority wherein you need to give way. Tsk tsk tsk *facepalm*

Darrell is right, back then the Davao Museum in Lanang do not have many historical pieces. When we go on field trip, (every year) i kept wondering why we go there when there's not much to see and learn.

So happy that Coast Road is open. Looking forward to it one day having a bridge to Samal Island. It could have been nice if the design the road with a parking area to pull over for motorist to see the ocean. It looks like only cyclist can ride close to the ocean. The main attraction is the ocean, isn't it? I guess the plan was designed when there's no car in Mindanao only bicycles🙂.
