This WAS produced by the RTE...the Irish state broadcaster... The same broadcaster that banned Dave Allen from ever being shown back in the day...

Dave Allen way well know for missing half of a finger or one of his hands. It’s apt he was played by an actor best know for playing a character called Littlefinger.

Dave Allen was fantastic. Would be hard to believe how ground breaking he was to young people today, especially in Liberal Ireland of today... but he truly was and a very special guy. Just watched this on Amazon Prime (UK) where it's just popped up for free, (if you are a Prime Member), but thank you for posting it here,. it's an excellent show

It's not really known. He fell out of the fifth floor window of a hostel he was living in, in London, and died from the injuries. He was very ill at the time with cancer and cirrhosis, so he wouldn't have lived for a lot longer. RIP Johnny Tynan-OMahony.

I don't like it that they copied him. Dave Allen cannot be replaced. The original shows are much better than this copy

This is not a copy of a David-Allen-Show. This is a wonderful biopic about Dave Allen. And it is a wonderful biopic. Thank you! Sadly .. only 58 minutes. Dave Allen deserves much more!

I d safely say it was the seed of the liberal elite politically correct new nuns and monks of lgbtuwxyz that ruined or wrote the well sanitised politically correct script to be honest . Not too sure about the casting, personally I think that man is a good actor , if they had the proper script in front of him .
