Just amazing: an update of an old black gospel blues number from the 1930s, which was already good (and is still available if anyone's interested). Here the blues tune is given a harder edge with nicely restrained but hard as nails guitar, and tight perfectly understated singing. Hey, and the comment on the world still rings true -- as does that steady beat in your head of the drum. I cannot wait for this album's release. Many thanks to these guys for making music that is not marketed but real.
