Seriously, that progress is much much better than anywhere else in the world. In third world countries like the Philippines, in rural areas we build houses using manual labor. No mixer, just shovels and muscle

Please I'm not from Philippines but i don't agree with you that Philippines is a third world country that bulshit if you're not proud of your country then you need medical treatment 😮

you are abroad> they work differently there and certainly in Italy so the owners should have pointed that out to you, because that takes a lot more time

This is a great international project. Working in a different country is an everlasting memory and so much fun to work in Italy! It's all turning out just beautiful. 👏👏

I love how Jenny tries to make it seem so tough to balance looking after children and working on a home in Tuscany. Taking your children to Tuscany for a fully paid work trip in Tuscany is a blessing. There is no need to build tension for the show by complaining how tough it is to raise children.

Seriously. It's not the USA. Why on earth didn't the owners hire local contractors???

Probably HGTV wanted to show us first hand what it takes to renovate a 1$ home in Italy and make some money off the show. Very tempting to buy a home over there, but my grandkids are over here in beautiful San Diego!

To be the hunters on top of the lazy workers and push them to work faster and get things finished in months and not years and years and years obviously 😅

@@TheRsc1111why do you assume they are lazy?

You can't bring your American ways to Italy. Research (if you haven't been there before) would show that their streets are thousands of years old and very, very narrow. They don't have big trucks-their construction trucks are about the size of our smallest crossover SUV. They are tiny! I love Italy---please be nice to the construction workers--they have to work really, really hard.

Or perhaps they relax too much, are lazy and not as hard working. They just generally work less. 😏

@@TheRsc1111 No. Things are as they are, there always are complications with old sites.

In Mexico my husband and his cousin made a two bedroom house for his aunt. The house was block and concrete, and they didn't use a concrete mixing machine except for the roof. They mix it on the ground with shovels and transport by wheelbarrow. They did the floor in four sections. It did take a few months.

they should have gone with light appliances. the dark fridge and stove brings the mood down. and a softer sage green would have worked better. but nice to see the french husband dude smile for once....

Just beautiful!! The amount of time and work that goes into any home remodel is overwhelming sometimes but damn, it’s 100x more stressful there! The results are amazing though ❤️❤️
