There is scaffolding that could go over the trellis. Its just very long but could work.

Wisteria is a very aggressive plant. It will grow back very fast if it had to be pruned back alot. No worries

All parties are frustrated and it shows. Setting that deadline seems to be almost unreasonable due to the local. It is known that Italian construction has a reputation to be slow. Good luck

My bet - it's both. He is complaining for real. And for sure, construction on any old Italian reno is going to take forever.

It couldn't possibly as slow as in Spain - which is where I’ve lived for the past 20 years, and 3 Reno’s. Anyway, good luck with the rest of the work. You guys should both get an honorary Buddhist University degree in patience… didn’t you know that French people complain a lot?! (I can say that, I’m French). I’m sure Pierre is a lovely man, but hey, you can’t have it all!!!
