The first time was in lima, that i heard Brandenburg Gate.... that was in the middle 50's... later on, when I was stationed in Germany, when to Berlin but could only see the gate from afar. It was in 2014 that finally was able to see and walked around this impressive monument. In my mined Dave melody play on and on, the violins part.
The section around 13:35 when the piano and saxophone just play with each others lines, reminds me of the way solo instruments would have been handled in baroque and classical music. Brilliant stuff.

David Cheon You're part of a minority. Today's youth mostly call dubstep, rave or other bunch of computer programming based genres as a "masterpiece". My complaint is aimed to most of the youngsters.

Gorgeous arrangement of a beautiful tune. Brubeck was a superb composer. However, I find his piano playing rather clunky. Paul Desmond's soloing is perfect.
