He turned down a $50 million deal and basically went dark (very randomly did small sets in random comedy clubs like the laugh factory) till recently.

You know what we love about Jimmy? By the way, "we" here means black people. Tonight is my turn to speak for us. What we love about Jimmy Fallon is that he is one of those successful white guys who is not afraid to show how much he is a fan of a lot of black superstars. He is who he is, and he makes no apology for it. "I love these guys," he often finds himself thinking to himself. He also pays homage. He appreciates African-American talent. He kept the Roots working. A steady paycheck. He is now reminding us who Dave Chappelle is. He grew up on these talents. He's not gonna forget them. Now, that's a honest talk show host. Jimmy keeps it real and we, too, appreciate him for that. He has a lot of black fans!

LaDarius Bradley You don't have to be THAT funny to be a host. You have to be likable and easy going for the most part. I rather see a humble, all smiles guy that makes his guests comfortable than a cocky, "funny" guy that only want to upstage his guests by making jokes. And Jimmy never "Thirsts" over his female guests, now that is very rare amongst the male hosts.

Kanye is a love/hate figure. He does come across as arrogant, but he just truly believes in what he's doing and whilst he may go overboard a little, I think you need an attitude like that to be successful. Anyone's entitled to not like Kanye West, but to say he hasn't been one of the most innovative, influential and important musicians in the last 10-15 years would be complete ignorance.

Maybe I'm outside his sphere of influence, but I don't see anything truly innovative in what he's done or how he's changed anything. He's made some songs I like, but none of it's been game changing that I can tell. I'd say Drake's done more to change the musical landscape really.

I always forget that The Roots are Fallon's studio band. Such a great band. Their talents are understated in this show, but not wasted. I'm sure it's a good deal for both parties, so more power to it.

There are about 4-5 real PPV draws in boxing...Floyd wasn't one until he fought De La Hoya and changed from Pretty Boy to Money.... So Is every other fighter bar Floyd, Manny, Cotto and Canelo being overlooked because they are not on PPV? Is Broner being overlooked because his last fight wasn't? I had no idea that was how the first season of the Chappelle show "picked" the musical guests. But the list he gave was exactly THAT! I just thought he had a bunch of extremely talented musicians, I didn't know that they were linked like that. Or that they couldn't get guests to come on, until they started asking those artists who were at that massive recording session!!! Crazy!!
