David is blessed from God with the Spirit of wisdom and knowledge in Jesus Christ Name. Amen, Glory too Almighty God, hallelujah, hallelujah glory to His Holy Name. Amen, Amen and amen.
If dave chappelle was a book, he'd be the only book in history that get's better every time you read it. I can't wait for the next chapter to begin. A pure masterpiece of a person.
He believs fully in one book. And that is the Quran. Would you think that a guy like dave chapelle he is so smart en much experience with the industry. Would he believe in a book thats a lie ???
I remembered when he left that money, people were talking all kinda stuff about him. Other comedians made fun of him. Now you have a full understanding of why he did it. This man is genius.
@@azertyazerty5235 Dave said that he left the show because the "emotional content of it didn't feel like what he imagined success should feel like. It did not feel right at all and that his peace mattered more than 💰 money" So he went on a travel break to South Africa. At this time he was not completely against doing another season of the Chappelle Show. He only decided to leave for good after Comedy Central reportedly used old material to create a third season against wishes. Dave told the Dayton Daily News that he felt that was a bully move and that damaged his relationship with the Network.
Genius indeed! A comedian that can educate and make you laugh at the same time. One of the greatest ever you can talk about Dave Chappelle Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy that their jokes will always be of relevance
Dave Chappelle is the Mike Tyson of comedy, youngest heavyweight champion of the world. Thank you Dave Chappelle, your integrity is worth much more than $50 million.
On a side note... the fact that they got fucked by the industry and have stayed relevant.. As well as Iron Mike overcoming mountains of bullshit and drugs, to see where they are at now.. It is truly inspirational. I hope all you folks out there are working towards the best version of yourself
"The worst thing to call someone is crazy. Its dismissive. I don't understand this person so they're crazy...maybe the ones who think that have an environment that's a little sick....." WOW. That makes so much sense right now. Thank you Dave Chappelle. Winds Cafe. Word.
I agree with Dave about calling people crazy is being dismissive. But there are genuinely crazy people. There is a sick man in the White House as we speak.
@@brucegelman5582 the whole government is a sick cherade the "real whites". He speaks of are those who truly control learn to seperate reality from allusion it's all media and propaganda the system is sick
Dave Chappelle is very insightful and original genius of life that translates to next level performer in anything he chooses love listening to his lifes experienced...
Listen to me. Using the Lords name for anything but worship, honor, praise and prayer is a sin called blasphemy. Would you use your mothers name as a cuss word? Repent and trust God. Seek Jesus while He may be found.
9:18 "Good and bad is a compass that helps you find the way. And a person that only does what's better or worse is the EASIEST type of person to control. They are a mouse in a maze that just finds the cheese. But the one who knows about good and bad will realize that he's in a maze..." Damn, that's hella profound.
Recently I have seen a lot of clips on this guy called Andrew Tate and he talks abt the "Matrix". Hearing this perspective abt the Maze is so enlightening.
Everyone says he’s a brilliant comedian...NO! He’s a brilliant, insightful man that happens to be a comedian. Forget about comedy; I’d pay to listen to this man for hours, with just him talking about life in general while he smokes and drinks coffee.
Dave inspired me when he talked about people being dismissive. It made me want to know a person and understand them and not be a dick in life. Thank you Dave
@@LynnLee-fs3dp Netfilix didnt "give" this man anything. He earned it. People like you who get all giddy over 20 million aren't able to grasp the fact that Netfilx will make 200 million off of Dave for that deal. So he DESERVES alot more. Think on a higher plane. Or at least try.
MzDontCallMeFish no, we know he deserves much more but until he owns HBO he’ll keep getting pennies to HBO’s dollars, so I say 20 million should hold him till then✊🏾
There’s lots I admire about Dave Chappelle, but the thing I find amazing is he can just go on stage with no pre prepared material and speak for 1 hour and absolutely kill it. He such an engaging speaker, we get sucked into his stories; we feel them in our heart and laugh with our bellies. One of a kind person
How uncomfortable is it when he says, I was the first person in my family not to go to college and everyone laughs bc they think it's a joke. He's not joking at all.
The beauty of Dave Chapelle is that he is thinking about what he says and about what he perceives, like a sentient being should. He doesn’t just blurt out anything he thinks will get a laugh.
He’s one of the most inspiring people alive today. I hope to one day meet him and thank him for all the joy he brought me in my dark times. But even if I don’t I’m still grateful for his existence.
Story Seaway lots of us have channels, but the comment section isn’t an effective place to advertise. And it comes off as sneaky. Be careful or the trolls will notice. All the best.
The best thing about chappelle is that we are not able to reach to him. He pops out whenever and wherever he wants and we are happy we can share some minutes with him. I believe a podcast would be killing that vibe
The return of Muhammed Ali 2.0 refusing to be drafted in the Army for the war in Vietnam which make him lost his World Heavyweight Title belt and his liscence to box in America bcuz of the injustices his generation was faced with.
"There are people who are trying to replace the ideas of good and bad with better or worse. A person that does what's better or worse are the easiest type to control and is a mouse in a maze looking for the cheese, but the one who knows about good and bad will realize they are in a maze."
Dave Chappelle is a brilliant intelligent human being that enjoys his work and prime medium of delivering his messages (comedy). He learns so many things and provides us with the lessons he's learnt through his comedy - you always pick something up when listening to him. It's truly amazing. He can go on for 30mins to an hour without making an outright joke and you'd still be engaged because the knowledge he drops is out of this world, and yet him having such a humorous character allows the knowledge to come out in funny ways and that balances the intake of knowledge, by preventing it from being an outright lecture on life. What a gent!
Unfortunately very few of the future generations will ever experience his greatness since the world is now full of, as Dave would say, "bitch ass niggas"! Too many people can't take a joke as a joke and get all butt hurt over everything and will do everything they can to shield their children from his top shelf brand of comedy.
MR. CHAPPELLE IS AN EXTRAORDINARILY INTELLIGENT MAN THAT HAS A RELATIVELY RARE ABILITY TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES. "MUCH LOVE, RESPECT AND GOD BLESS. THE DEMON WE FACE IS NOT IMMORTAL."
Met him once, 2001, in a comedy bar in Glasgow. No one in the audience understood him, I didn't understand him, he kinda bombed, but after wards at the bar he was cool as a cucumber and gave me a signed copy of a CD he was selling. I didn't value that CD at the time, I didn't value much in my life to be fair ... but now that I've rediscovered him and appreciate his genius? Man. I'd love to still own it.
Smartest black man I've known, Dave Chapelle has that little something that the majority of us are missing, real human conscience and wisdom to express him self about all issues that are affecting us all, and at the same time funny as hell what a guy !!!
The guy is a genius. The best stand up on the planet. Also a superb talker, graceful and articulate in everything he says. You can also see he is a great father and husband full of peace and knowledge. I truly believe he could bring us all together for the greater good of mankind. Thank you for all you do Mr Chapelle.
When he say "only tough people ever sit here and talk to you", actually he say "i am going to do some shit that you not gonna like and i don't care what you gonna respond to that, and than he is smoking. What a Legend, what a genius!
The development of this guy is unbelievable! He went from one of the funniest comedians to grand master and mirror of society! May he live long, there are not that many people who can put into words like him what the world needs to hear..
There are clans of white people that control politics, economics and media. We are not them. It’s the same thing when white people say the N word. They really mean those people that Chris Rock wrote an incredibly accurate and funny skit: black people hate n’s too.
Not only is he the best comic to ever grace the stage he is the greatest wordsmith I have ever come across. Layers upon layers of messaging in his words. He fkn paints stories into you psyche.
That line about good and bad, better and worst. Wow wow wow, that’s life changing advice right there. He’s not just dropping knowledge he’s dropping bombs.
I'll always love how he says "I'm the first person in my family to NOT go to college. The only to not be a slave." He says that without smiling, and you know he meant that! Folks will laugh at that not knowing the deeper meaning. 💪🏾✊🏿💙
Actually there's no deeper meaning. He meant all the Black people in his family had attended college, except the ones that were slaves. Meaning he came from a long line of college educated Black folks. That's why he followed with "so I broke a tradition." Sheesh... SMH, people try so hard to appear "woke" and find "deeper meanings" when sometimes there is no deeper meaning. And instead of appearing woke & superior, they end up looking pompous and obtuse. LMAO
"name your price, and if it gets more expensive then what u say, then get out" he isn't speaking just on money he meant the consequences (if you guys don't know about the 33° masons) if you good enough with making people laugh that's good but if you get slaved by your bosses, if you have to embarrass and pervert your character to gain success then it isn't worth it get out of there and get your price your future not destroying your image or giving up your freedom for something made from dead trees
So true. Dave and prince were good friends and they had a lot in common, not being a slave is one of them. Both very smart and talented men. A lot of other people in the business sale their souls!! People always talking about they want money and fame but they don't realize what comes with the fame.
I have so much respect for this man for not giving up his up bringing! Flip Wilson said the devil made him do it! He was telling us then about Hollywood putting black men in dresses! Most of us from Washington DC will not compromise our manhood no matter what!
Dave Chappelle is someone who had parents that taught him to always LISTEN to what others are saying around/to you because you never know what knowledge you may take from it one day. It may not be that day it was said, but down the road. Active listening > Listening to reply
Dave is so right! we shall neva know why he walked away from 50million but I no I no it wasn't because he was crazy or is crazy he's like a wise friend a very wise friend. When I heard he was with Kanye I said he's in the best hands. Dave knows I no he knows love an respect for Dave! 🙏💚💚💚
He was contracted to get 50% of the revenue from his show. He made comedy central $500,000,000. Comedy central told him that he made them too much money and they changed the deal on him and only offered him 10% not the original 50%. Considering all the behind the scene issues he had to deal with, Dave just walked away. Basically he saw how “sick” show business was, then received a slap to the face my only being offered $50 million. It was everything from having to recast for more universally marketable actors( white people) to sexual deviancy ( Harvey Weinstein). I haven’t ever heard Dave discuss sexual deviancy, so that I am just assuming about. Considering everything that we now know about entertainment, I’m sure that was one of the issues.
Dave is alot smarter then people think. He Isa genuine person that cares about everything that is real. He is the goat of all comedians. No one will ever come close to the goat Dave C
