I love the way Dave Chappelle never disrespected Donnell one time never played into the jokes never played into the disrespect he never laughed at him or look down toward him he understands that he's also a comedian maybe not with the same level of success as himself but deserving of respect that's my dude for that
Dave has always had great character super respectable dude and Charlemagne asking him why white people like his comedy white people loved richard Pryor
Right on brotha!!! Donnell said it best, He has been doing comedy for a lot of years but not everybody gets a chance to use the platform like Dave Chappelle has
datDANK you know, once when I was in Cleveland, my friend Walter and I ran into this Dave character in the local country club. Quite a fellow with a witty sense of humor. Thanks, Rick
I love when Angela spoke about donell's "state of depression" (which was not her right to speak on) Dave immediately looked at him and saw the uncomfortable look on his face and Dave went in to comedy mode in order to lighten the mood. 😊
There is NO COMEDIAN ALIVE that is as brilliant and as funny as Dave Chappelle. His level of non-apologetic humor surpasses George Wallace, Don Rickles and Richard Pryor, and leaves audiences in stitches. Thank you Chappelle for being a great comedian and a great human being all the way around.
Glory be unto God the Most High charline is a real life hatred disrespecting low class overrated person for a black man I’ve ever seen. But one thing for sure he knows exactly who he can get away with that disrespectful shit to. I’ve seen his ass sinking in his seat before plenty of times
The amazing support and respect that Dave has for Darnell was so evident throughout this video. You'll miss the subtle remarks and gestures in this video if you're not paying attention. Dave has his back!
I respect Dave Chappelle more than almost any human on this planet. He always speaks with eloquence and is maybe one of the most hilarious people on the planet. 🐐
Lol you don’t know them people. The fact that they treat him crazy and he’s up there all the time shows how great of FRIENDS they are. Literally they are talking about how they know each other’s families and call each other telling them they love them. I got friends since childhood who if I see it’s a roasting session on site
go bot lol go watch his joe Rogan interview he obviously sees them as friends but thinks they don’t respect him because he highkey is respected I the stand up comedy scene they gang up on him try to belittle him it’d be cool if they capped on everyone not just single him out
The reason everyone loves Dave Chappelle is that he's comedy is edgy, dark, honest and intelligent. He speaks on things that other people are scared to speak on, political things that need to be spoken about and he does it in a smart, funny way. He gets people to think about things they otherwise might not think about. The guy is a comedic genius but more than that he comes across as a genuine person not just someone pretending to be genuine the way he treats Donnell in this interview is proof of that, he doesn't join in with making Donnell the butt of the joke but shows respect for the guy, that is a genuine guy, I have the utmost respect for Mr Chappelle and his comedy. Keep doing you Dave and we'll keep on watching.
I’ll forever love Dave Chappelle! He seems to be very humble and knowledgeable! A true comedic legend.... all facts!!! And I love the way he consistently respected donnell when they kept downplaying him in a “funny” way!!
Dave should give classes on public speaking; media interaction. He is never rushed into a thought and doesn't hesitate to ask for more perspective before speaking. TBC is about provoking emotion, trying to be controversial - walking, talking click bait - so to see him interact with them is like watching a grown a man speak to children at length.
“I don’t use those kinda of metrics.” Dave is, and always will be a class act. I’ll never downplay the terrible history and effects of racism, or try to downplay a certain culture. But racism will never stop if we don’t stop separating things by race. Typical Charlamagne comment. Glad Dave handled it with class.
Racism will never stop if people don’t examine their own hateful hearts. Having differences in ethnic backgrounds is perfectly okay and what makes the world great. Suggesting that no one should bring up the conversation of racism in order to extinguish is just dismissive, avoidant and another way for white people to complacent
@@unknownx7252 Exactly... but considering how you worded your response it's evident that although you know the truth about what's really going on, you decide to stay asleep & make others who are conscious appear crazy. I won't waste either my nor your time trying to convince you otherwise. Have a good day man👍🏾.
You can't keep yourself from loving Dave Chappelle... The guy is a legend in the stand up comedy industry... You are my man Dave ❤️ Much love brother...
theresa campbell Being funny is a proof of high intelligence. If you watch interviews of any great comedian, you can definitely tell the guys are really wise and smart. Except for Amy Schumer.
@@deanjohns1529 hate to tell you, but his intellect is FAR ABOVE the room, and he continually checks them with respect and grace. In fact, it's so subtle you apparently didn't notice.
@@85geoffm I guess you miss the point of my comment and I did not watch the interview again. Dave is humble and people like you are trying to project your arrogance on to him
@@deanjohns1529 and you missed the point of both Mel and I's comment. It has nothing to do with arrogance or how smart Dave is. It totally has to do with how terrible his interviewers and how socially aware Dave is with his words and how grateful he is when deflecting some really stupid questions.
@@85geoffm I can tell you're arrogant just by the things you say. Whatever issues you see with the interviewers, or most likely not issues to Dave. I'm an intelligent but humble person myself, so I'm sharing from that perspective.
For real they ain’t your friends if they regularly treat you like a punching bag. Joking around is one thing but if they regularly clown on you they ain’t your friends
.... what I love about Dave & Donell is that you can tell they're really geniuine friends -- just by the lean over laughs , because we ALL do that with our friends .
Tony A1 I get that he definitely seems different. However, if the powers at be really did make a clone or replace him it would be dumb to make new Dave so different. If there are clones, I'm sure they would be the celebrities that no one would expect. They would probably be identical.
*high key fym Dave one of the wokest, most intelligent black celebrities today. He literally created the skit style on Comedy Central that Key and Peele used, and it pissed him off that the credits said that they invented it.
This is so hard to watch. It's like watching children picking at these well respected people. I get Donnell knew these clowns for a while, but jeez have some respect for a second.
Damn, they were so disrespectful to Donnell. It was like he wasn't even there...and then when he DID have the courage to say something he got dissed HARD. Dang, dude didn't even make the title! lol
real! I don't understand why they were like that to him he was one of my fav guys in Dave's show. I'm thinking they act like that because they are good friends outside the show and they just messing around lke usually.
Dave reminds me of Wayne 😂 that low voice, really calm mood.. started at young age, both went through some shit and came back (Carter V and Netflix Deal) two OG’s man 🔥
Asking Dave Chappelle when he was last humble is like asking a fish when he was last in water. The man is always humble.. Just one of the reasons he be the GOAT.
One of the few celebrities that I don't want to miss one minute of what he's saying. He's got major jokes but he really makes you think as well. So iconic!!
tonja manigo yes! He brought up a lot of shit during his stand up in Dallas. He low key was dogging them country folk. That Ebola issue he brought up was on point. I watched it several times. He's the shit!
I saw Donnell and Dave in Columbus, GA a few years ago and it was the one time I went to a stand up show and felt I got my money's worth plus more. I went to Katt William's and it wasn't as good as watching his specials on TV. If you get a chance to see Dave live then do it.
I understand what they are saying about loosing a good friend , I lost my Brother and best Friend last September he passed away after suffering from ALS for 15 Months he was only one year older, he was only 62.
No it didn't, Dave is just laid back when he not on stage. Donnell gets treated like this everywhere he go because he is friends with most major radio show host. Sway did him the same way.
I love the way Dave controlled this interview, with the questions they threw! Also, I love the deep respect he showed to Donell! Dave is so intelligent, and still remains laid-back, and humble! What a real dude! Breakfast club, should take notes! I don't know why Donell tolerates this foolishness! He seems like a great guy, with talent, and a humble heart, and this has to bother him, it bothers me!
@@rainonyourparade2730 if he didnt try and act like a gang member and acted more like an artist it wouldnt have happened. He also hit a gang member and then they went looking for him. Stupidity got him killed.
@@davidmelson5279 Tupac placed himself in those situations. Dr Dre and Ice Cube came up same as him in the gangster rap era and grew up and realized gang shit is for dumbasses. Tupac didn't, and still felt like it was okay to risk your life in a shootout if someone "disrespected" you. He was an idiot for that.
Why the disrespect donnell like that. Anyone that follows comedy knows he’s a notorious killer in his shows. Other comedians hate following him cuz of how much he kills
