Man I know he did some shit he shouldn't have but ive always felt bad for Eric. No one has ever seemed to notice that scene where Schmidt says "you're so lucky your parents don't give a shit about you" and Eric plays it off but you can see he's upset :/ kid deserved more
Thank God I found this in the comments. I mean the rest of it is well done but that's just a major flaw in the plot development and doesn't correlate to Eric's character already being suspicious. The fact that he goes from questioning them being cops to trusting them with his life in a moment and then maintains that after they shoot like pro's is ridiculous. "Beginners luck" indeed. I assume that this is probably purposefully done for humour itself but it's just cheap to me. Not something that holds it's value upon repeat viewing.
Eric was the main antagonist for the majority of the film, but when Domingo emerge by action and Mr. Walters emerge by having more bigger plans than everyone else, Eric is demoted as the central antagonist mainly because he was truly responsible for the HFS drug trade going viral.
