An epic duo Dave and Taylor, I can’t say one without the other. I haven’t been able to watch the band with the new drummer. The sound and the friendship that you saw on stage between them can never be replaced. Miss you Taylor, so sad you are not here, still broken hearted 💔. I love this video ❤
RIP Taylor 💔 legends live forever in our memories and hearts. I've always loved this performance, he's so happy here. Love his chemistry with Dave. Must admit watching it again now had brought tears to my eyes 💔
@Sharon Murray - Great comment Sharon! I love what you wrote about legends live forever in our memories and hearts. Very well said. 👏 I just came across this performance. Taylor is so full of life. I even cried watching this. We lost a fantastic musician but more importantly we lost a really generous, compassionate & kind man. RIP Taylor 🙏💔😭
For those of you who don't know about this band. It's a band Taylor joined/created with his old buddies from school. He gave them guidance and when they mentioned needing a drummer he said fuck it, I can jam with you guys. There aren't many artists in this with the amount of skill and fame Taylor had that would be willing to help out his old friends. RIP, you'll surely be missed.
15:12 Dave says, “I love this man so much.” Taylor just smiles the whole time. Their love for each other will live on forever. Rest in beats and peace Taylor. 💔💔🎼🎼🥁🥁
It really may be the thing that keeps Dave from ever bringing back the Foo Fighters. I don’t think they will ever perform as the FF after this tragedy. I get it, FF was all Dave in the beginning, but 2022 is a different time and a different band than the one back in 1995. SUCH SADNESS
Agreed. Over the years, however, Dave has said that the music is what has gotten him through and it’s what heals him. The FFs will never be the same but I hope that Dave and the FFs will find peace and maybe a new path. God only knows what that may be.
Another things i love about dave is, you dont have to be on drugs, you dont have to had many women besides you, you dont have to flex everythings you got... To be happy, to be rockstar, to be human.
When you see Chevy Metal, Taylor and band and good friend Dave playing music for the love of music, for fun.... you understand why Foo Fighters is still around, and will still be around for a long, long time. Pure joy and bliss, just to be able to play.... Hell of a great show, Taylor, that you put on for us.
@Timothy Ursch I agree. I think Dave and Taylor were so immensely close. You can literally SEE and FEEL their love and admiration for one another, and it's something that's been cultivated for.....what?....27 years??
I never saw this so cool I love the joy Dave and Taylor play with . Its sad to know these days are over for Taylor . I hope Dave continues when he’s ready. Rip Taylor I didn’t know you but I feel like a lost a friend .
Well, when you have had massive success with the band that actually makes you tons of money and every fuckin musician in the world wants you to come out and guest on their gigs for free ... it allows for such a thing. Playing just for fun and not worrying about trying to get paid later makes for a more relaxed happy gig.
yes. foo fighters arent a band - they're a corporation. so many people depend on them for income he couldn't quit without destroying hundreds of his friends lives. here he's just a dude playing music and it makes me miss dave from 91. this is great. foo's, not so much anymore.
@@S0UNDC1TY yeah to big, in to deep to get out. As long as they can feel happy and be creative I guess it works for them but like all art it's hard to remain fresh. Not many bands can keep going for so many years.
I guess im asking randomly but does anyone know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me
Every time i watch David and Taylor doing what they do so very well; but also remind me of how cool is is hanging with your best best friend. GREAT SET!
They are so cool... Taylor and Dave changed what it means to be a "Rock Star." Before Rock Stars were these larger-than-life characters. Like Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. Living the Rock Star life. Rock Stars also primarily only played with their band and lived the high life we read in magazines. Dave and Taylor, especially Taylor, were huge fans who made it. They love music. They never forgot where they came from. They loved every part of the journey. Even the beginning. They made music fun. They were so approachable and humble. They played together and also had their independent projects. Who says you have to be in only one band for the rest of your life. Maybe the Beatles would have stayed together if they did the same thing and were able to express the different creative sides of themselves. In one interview Taylor said, "Don't call me a Rock Star, I'm a musician." And that's how he and Dave live, they love music. Taylor will be greatly missed but together he and Dave left a great legacy behind.
I'm not quite into Foo Fighters... I love Nirvana... But I can say for sure that Dave Grohl is one of the best man has ever lived. Easy going, zero rock star shit, plays every where with any band, breaks his leg (literally) on stage and comes back to continue with the gig... I wish I knew him!
Wow!! Led Zeppelin loosely tight extreme. Now i understand so much more about this Fantastic band. What a kick Ass #.. R.I.P. Taylor.. what a Power HOUSE..
I would not get to see stuff like this if it wasn't for RU-vid. Thank you for taking it and sharing it! I would love to see Chevy Metal play. Although, I'm not that impressed with Wiley as a singer. I honestly would rather he just play bass and leave the singing to Taylor, Dave, and other guest singers. I would probably annoy the heck out of everyone screaming, "LET TAYLOR SING THE NEXT ONE!!"
The bass guy wants to sing a song... so be it. This band is more about everybody feeling good and welcome. Not bending to pressures. Bootleg video has no good mixing his lead vocals are better than you think.
Thanks Robert for bringing this to us... too much fun, the band, the members, the crowd.... What an epic blessing to get to hear and see them perform and capture it for the rest of us, it looks like a great time was had by all.
Back to basics jamming with no fame our fortune yet involved. No pressure from fans with high expectations. Only from yourselves to push harder and sound better
Ah Pre covid. The best playing with the best! I love this. Dave your not always the centre of attention but gosh darn it your so lovable. You and Taylor are so cute. Bros just being Bros and we all just love it 😆
Saw Brent last nite at The End Machine show.....saw him play 28 yrs ago and he was a monster than.....he was really nice & I'm glad I said hello......EVERYONE keep supporting live music....go buy a ticket and get your ass out to a live venue you only live once.
Saw Dave play with them Foos last week, and I liked the covers they did more than their own stuff. Chevy Metal Rocks!....And yes, the drummer here is Dave's drummer. Wayyyyyyyyy too much fun for one stage.
Chad Love watching you play period: big shows, littleshows, dives, cabaret, any of them Music store, bedroom floor, basement, and them we could talk for 8 or 9 hours.....oh yes i do Happiest of holidays to everyone. Thanks for sharing your favorite thing with us.
Thanks for all the recent hits on this video, more than tripled in the last 10 days. The Foo's are touring again and my wife is a lunatic fan of the nth degree and we are lucky enough to live in SoCal where, even when they're not touring, they'll play gigs like this and the now defunct (temporarily?) Love Ride. Cal Jam is next Saturday and we'll try to get as close as we are able to and get some fresh video, along with some Queens of the Stone Age, though I'm sure the stage setup won't let us get close enough to tune Dave's guitar as I was here in the straw hat at the 3:29 mark. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YSxQP7M9N0w.html
Under Pressure!!! Essa música ficou marcada, como a música que Eu irei lembrar do Taylor para sempre pois ele adorava cantar a mesma. Tenho um carinho muito grande pelo Dave.❤❤❤ Amooooooooo essa música. Saudades do Taylor! 😥
Why does Daves guitar sound better than in the Foos? Its the same dude with the same instrument and its crappy audio quality but this guitar sounds rich af
