Can you recommend a tune where he plays something other than the major/minor pentatonic scale? He doesn't seem to play anything with a bit of dissonance/resolution - if he does, it is impossible to find.

I just listened to it. Dave does nothing extraordinary; no solo spot. He is just following behind the vocalist modestly. The thing I noticed that was a little out of the way was the little Lydian run at the end which was just a pattern. I really want to hear him outside of the major/minor pentatonic stuff but I don't think I will ever get to.
