A right thumb injury to #davematthewsband drummer Carter Beauford during the main set closer led to an audible for the Encore 2 spot. Instead of playing a full band version of “Stay” Dave Matthews and Arthur “Buddy” Strong played “Steady As We Go” from the 2005 Stand Up Album. #davematthewsband #deercreek #dmb #standup

What a weak way to end a summer two night stand at a top tier dmb venue. They can do so much better. I know I know...but roe....gimme a break. 135$ Plus fees to hear some awesome DMB and you get sent home with this softy. In fact this might be the worst two nights of encores ever. Flame away.

Carter possibly broke his finger. Instead of crying and complaining, how about let’s see how he’s doing and be thankful you got to see them. I wish I got to see them but I didn’t.

Man, all y’all complaining about a “weak closer” are pretty inconsiderate and have a ridiculous sense of entitlement. They could have scraped the second encore song completely instead, they called an audible and switched to a different song. Maybe work on that strengthening that compassion muscle.
