Just look at the smiles on their faces. 25 years of straight touring and never missed a step. Ever. When Roi passed I thought maybe, just maybe, for a minute, that they’d hang it up out of respect. I also remember thinking whoever was to replace him had some very large shoes to fill and that true diehard fans would not accept him. Glad I was wrong on both fronts. Long live the Groo Grux King and much love to Jeff, who has stepped in seamlessly. True professionals who enjoy every minute. Here’s to another 25 years!
I will never, ever get tired of listening to or watching this track. From the intro to the funked up ending, whatever version. Absolutely awesome. These musicians are totally at the top of there game
tbh Buddy Strong has a strong connect between Dave, Tim, and Carter especially (they're closest eyelines on stage to him) and I loved him from the first 2020 live concert they posted on here
Dave Matthews Band greatest asset is their ability, to be a "jam band" and play an array of musical styles-rock, world music, and in this particular instance, my favorite, JAZZ!!! Not too many groups are that versatile in that regard!!!! This is a trend setter band, and has been one since their beginning!! Amazing version. Hope they put up the Raleigh 2014 version next for the warm up series. I'd gladly take Crush or So Much To Say anyone seen the bridge Halloween from that show as well!
My previous comment was in regard to what I heard, "DMB and other very solid groups. were played out! I became very irate, since I was in a local bar, I kept my mouth shut!! This is a band that you either LOVE or are a HATER of for whatever reason.. Bottom line is they are MASTER MUSICANS in their own right.. MY MAIN MAN CARTER BEAUFORT (the EPITOME of DRUMMING MASTERY)
