My feelings EXACTLY! The violin set them apart and brought so much flavor to the band, it’s been noticeably different without Boyd. I don’t care about the controversy surrounding him, they could at least just replace him! I was at the gorge the year LeRoi died, and the show went on! We need all the sounds Dave
Gotta love it, during the breakout Tim is just grinning away in the background playing along by ear, what a fantastic version of this all time great song.
Saw Bronwyn sit in for a full set with Flamekeeper when Michael Cleveland was absent at last minute. Seeing musicians of their caliber improvise a full set was a rare and glorious treat.
Molly and her band are super classy , You can Tell Dave is loving it , Molly Is such an awesome artist also , And the band is Kool , banjo rolls rock Kyle :P
I didn't know how much I needed the violin back on DMB songs; that said, I think the reason they didn't bring another violin to the band (officially) was out of respect for Tinsley, who, despite the allegations and being a band member, was a friend of theirs.
The chick on the right is better nice bass classic guitar acousitcs sound like a cross between Dave himself and Bela Fleck I love the bluegrass tones who are these chicks The better dixie chicks? Not a country fan at all but sometimes someone surprises me being a country band like that black dude playing Fast Car cover one of my favorite albums like San Andreas Fault in that Vein looking for one Not a fan of the new album but maybe it will grow on me I instantly love or hate DMB albums i can tell quickly unlike a Phish album if it will be greatness I knew Before These Crowded Streets was amazing from the gate . . .and i knew Come Tomorrow was the best album since Everyday Did not like 2006-2017 for DMB studio albums but maybe Walk Around the Moon will grow on me . . .
LOL!!!!!! your post cracks me up. Those "chicks" are 2 members of one of the best new bands you never heard of... The "chick" on the right is Molly Tuttle...the frontwoman of the Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway band. She is one of the top guitarists on the current scene, and has won numerous awards, including a Grammy.... She easily outplays all but the VERY best of the best guitarists out there...present and past... The "chick" on the left is one of the top fiddle players going right now.... While i gave this vid a thumbs up, it don't do justice to them.... Trust me dude, look her/them up. Also, while yer at it, look up Billy Strings (i don't suppose you ever heard of him either)..... You can thank me later.... OH, and BTW, she's played with Bela numerous times....

Molly Tuttle - 2-time Blue Grass guitarist of the year. The absolute best. She also plays with Tommy Emannuel who is the best. Her band is the most talented group of musicians that I have ever seen on stage at one time. She is probably one of the few guitarists who could actually play with Albert Lee. That is how good she is. great voice too!!!!
What do we need to do? Start boycotting the shows until he brings back a violin player? It’s that serious to me. I’m running out patience. Its getting to the point where I’m ticked off at them for it
Boyds spirit lives on in other amazing Violinists We miss Butch Taylors better by far piano playing not a one trick pony like Buddy who is great at Organ church style but that is all he has going for him and he is turned DOWN so low I was at Blossom 21 had a Ya ll Need Jesus shirt on so they would play on the nose The Christmas Song or Save me but they played neither not even God the Father (Bartender please) and I could barely here Strong during Everyday and songs like Angels are his only songs where he should shine but he does not even shine during Everyday. We miss you BOYD and BUTCH. These gals have nothing on Tinsleys playing or even looks. He is one tall glass of scratched up on the road looking heavy eyes and ok so he gave a 15 yr old E pills who hasnt. Some one gave me some and rubbed me all over Doesnt make me gay i was taken advantage of too. . .life goes on. But without Boyd and Buddy DMB is not the same band
like it or not Boyd's not coming back. He crossed a line for Dave , you cant preach be kind on the stage and look the other way. I miss Boyd too, he was the hook for me as it was the fiddle that drew me in. That said DMB needs a fiddle , Two Step, The Stone, and many more just don't sound right. As far as the "tall one" thats Molly Tuttle check her out playing with Billy Strings too .... she can outright play don't be a hater
@@jumbalyia2001 they both can play in just saying I miss boys and butch both were amazing musicians. Buddy strong is NOT an amazing musician. I’ve seen them 2x at blossom still love the band but it is not the same since 2016. Not hating on these girls they are cool
