Fantastic.....upright bass musician that Sings while she plays.....happy attitude, too....I watched on another video with Molly and Jerry Douglas. She was just playing, but her smile and happy persona added to the happiness of their performance! Two Thumbs-up for THAT girl!!! Oh....I do recall she added vocal harmony in that other video.
You know what it is, Molly? A good game of Twister - an agreement to push each - or music Itself - to her or his limit but never to trip... that give and pull, that magnificent spark.
This band is beautiful, and I don’t mean just pretty to look at, though they are. They are beautiful humans playing music that feeds the soul. Hope you get to North Carolina some time. I’ll be sure to come and see you.

Oh? In Vancouver?! I will add this Folk performance to the long list of what I miss about living in Vancouver. I do not miss the cost of renting an apartment. But, I do deeply miss how close nature, art, and such a priceless diversity of people/communities are. 🌺
That upright bass player has the happiest, prettiest, smile!! So pleasant!! I think I could have a sad day and just look at her smiling face and it would definitely change my mood.
Im with you, Gilbert. This Shelby woman has such a compelling persona; I can't take my eyes off of her. I was intrigued to hear her voice in a solo; more high pitched than I expected .. and a distinct drawl
@@frankboyd. That would be great but I’d have to make arrangements with the venue , the band and the sound mixer to do a decent video. Got some good footage of them at the folk festival though.
