Dave Matthews fans know that he was born in South Africa and spent the majority of his childhood there. Miving to the states shortly after finishing secondary school. So, the Peter Gabriel comparison is not offensive at all.

This is our third video devoted to DMB, and yeah, we run into issues with copyright strikes. It often times doesn't come from the band, but rather the labels or the entity who claims ownership of the footage. I am sure it ain't Dave lording over the uploads on social media acting as judge, jury, and executioner, but it happens nonetheless. Butch Taylor was fired from the band after 2007. They didn’t have another keyboardist until 2018 which is Buddy Strong who is still a touring member.

Butch wasn't fired. He left to spend more time with his family. Only one on this stage who was fired is Boyd. This has got to be somewhere in the early 2000s, before 2006. Band looks a lot different these days: Boyd is now gone, Tim (lead guitar) is now there, Buddy (new keyboard player, as pointed out) is now there, and LeRoi (saxophone) has passed away. Spot now filled by Jeff Coffin. They also now have a trumpet player (Rashawn). Band is still great, just vastly different makeup.

The guy on the left seems to be constantly checking his emails or texts. It seems that he hardly ever watches the footage. I remember thinking this from previous reactions.

If you are talking about the reactor, Jon, I believe he is taking notes and jotting down his thoughts for our conversation during this, his first and only listen of the song. It can be difficult to train your eyes to the screen while also writing down your thoughts on the paper. Thanks for the constructive feedback though. - Andy

Thoughts to everyone affected by the bridge disaster. I didn’t take much time convincing her, baby, I’m from the Wirral peninsula. @Jon - do they call your baby La Bamba? Not my favourite of theirs, but good stuff all the same. I don't understand copyright strikes on reaction videos - they're more likely to increase sales than reduce them. Misheard Lyric of the Day - I spent all my money in a Mexican warehouse across the street from a Catholic church. @Andy - continuing our theme of dead ballplayers, look up Sydney Barnes in Wikipedia. My crude rule-of-thumb for comparing bowling average to ERA is divide by 10. [Edit] The opening of the studio version is fersure _Asturias_ by Isaac Albeniz.

Thank you for the thoughts and consideration surrounding the collapse of the Key Bridge and loss of lives--an absolute tragedy for my city. As for your fella Syd Barnes and your equation--I would say an ERA hovering around 1.643 would firmly land you in the conversation with Walsh, Joss, and Devlin when it comes to career ERA kings. @@theaudiophiles7889 For perspective, 37 cricketers have taken 300+ wickets in Test matches, the highest form of the game, starting in 1964. Their bowling averages range 20.94-34.36. That's how good Mr Barnes was. A proud and dignified man, Sydney (never Syd) spent most of his career embarrassing people in the cricket equivalent of Triple-A ball.
