"those guys need drum lessons" just shows that no matter where you are or what's going on, if you're a musician, you're always paying attention to what people are playing
Well Tipper Gore is Al Gore’s Husband and he ran against Republican candidate George W. Bush, and we all know what Tipper Gore did in the 80s, so I’d imagine a lot of 80s rockers were more conservative
That's true. Metallica writes sellers. But I will always choose Dave over Hetfield, because Dave's music isn't just about the devil and evil. It's about political outbreak and so on. There's meaning.
@@DaveOJAlso, even though most of Metallica's songs aren't political, most of them deal with real issues like drug abuse, alcoholism, trauma, depression, and mostly about James' complicated relationship with his parents.
In response to when this was, I believe it was '92 when clinton ran with gore because they were asking the question what can gore bring to the ticket. Also Countdown to Extinction was released in '92 and some of the songs off that album were played in the background.
He helped cover the MTV NEWS (Political Segments) He also went to Harvard for a little while, before he was in Metallica. He's an informed & intelligent guy.
Hey Was Chrisst Illision produced by rick? don't think so... But I am holding my hopes high for the album, but since Rob said the album is going to be ''groovy'' I'm changing of thoughts
Great clip..he did a really good job with the choose or lose stuff back in the day..too bad he feels kinda differently about it now considering as he said the whole democratic thing took awhile to "wash off"...but he did a lot of good for motivating voters....on a lighter note..dig those 90's hair don'ts! eegad!
Being conservative or liberal is a social view and, although it has a lot to do with politics in general, it has nothing to do with politicians. So a person can hate politicians and still be a conservative or liberal.
it's a bit strange for me to see mustaine doing a show on MTV because in one of his interwievs he had a strong attitude against MTV and it's comercial side.
How about we do both? I think that sounds nice. I mean, my income tax is already 20%, but if you could make the money spent more efficiently, then I certainly wouldn't mind paying more to get amazing quality of life.
@RictaWave It makes more sense that the universe has always been opposed to God. Examination of just about everything in the universe reveals that things naturally become more complex over time. Where in the equation does a being more complex than the Universe itself coming before the universe make sense?
