Fun fact: the Undertaker played college basketball. It's very weird seeing a picture of a very young, ginger Undertaker posting out to fight for a rebound.
And oddly enough, for me, 6 people out of my top 10 favourite wrestlers were all trained from the dungeon. Benoit, Bret and Owen Hart, Chris Jericho, Dynamite Kid, and finally Brian Pillman. I guess you can't deny the perfect "style" which is also, a phenomenal mix of both perfect technical wrestling and glorious in-ring psychology. And I gotta thank Benoit for introducing me to it!
I must admit, I'm a fan of it also. The first time I saw it implemented was when the British Bulldogs in their WWE run. So crisp and clean with lots of impact (and foot stomping🤣). Davey Richards would be the modern day version of that technique to me. What wrestler(s) do you feel embodies the Hart style?
My Top 10: 1. The Undertaker 2. Brock Lesnar 3. Shawn Michaels 4. Triple H 5. Chris Jericho 6. Jushin Liger 7. Bret Hart 8. Kurt Angle 9. Raven 10. Randy Orton
HAW, just as I suspected, a Hulkamaniac grown up! I LIKED his promos but his matches were boring, even pre WWF! Here's my Top 10....which may change depending on my moods: 10. BECKY LYNCH- I always thought she was a good foe for earlier faves, her "heel" turn won me over! 09. THE ROCK- SUPERB Mic skills, good selling, exciting 08. The UNDERTAKER- Great Gimmick, great ring work 07. "MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE- All around one of THE BEST wrestlers EVER! Preferred him with ELIZABETH than solo 06. TIE--SHAWN MICHAELS AND BRET HART...ALWAYS put on exciting matches, both better as heels! 05. The MAGNIFICENT MURACO- a great all around wrestler, SUPERB Mic work 04. "ROWDY" RODDY PIPER- Watch his NWA and early WWF matches and see why. Mic, need I mention it? 03. JIMMY "SUPERFLY" SNUKA- I tuned in EVERY week to see him in his prime! The same for... 02. "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN- You said a mouthful already, and eloquently 01. "NATURE BOY" RIC FLAIR- volumes have been written but the Flair you saw in the 90s was a shadow, like Henning said For me, if you're a genius in the ring but your Mic skills stink, I'm watching something else, the same if it's the reverse!
1. Kurt Angle- His in ring ability as well as his mic skills and story telling was incredible. When he went to TNA I was not able to watch him as much. But recently got Impact Plus and have been able to go back and watch a of his old TNA stuff that I never saw. I think a lot of his best work might have been in TNA. 2. Randy Savage-His feud with Ricky Steamboat in 87 leading up to WM3, along with the Hogan and Andre feud were the two storylines that drew me into wrestling. As time went on became more of a Macho Man fan than Hogan. 3. Ric Flair-I liked some of his WWE stuff but for me the definitive Flair stuff will always go back to crockett NWA and WCW. 4. Bret Hart- First wrestler that was able to give me a greater appreciation for in ring skills. His mic skills sometimes lacked but he still great charisma and great storytelling ability. I agree that the 97 anti America hart foundation angle was great. 5. Stone Cold Steve Austin-His feud with Mr McMahon was some of the best storytelling there has ever been in wrestling. His entrance music with the glass breaking might be the best of all time. Always got a huge pop. 6. Sting- I am one of the minority who actually prefer pre-crow Sting. I loved the crow version but to me buzz cut flat top Sting was the best. He was the perfect contrast with Flair and brought out the real heel in Flair that made him so entertaining. 7 Triple H-Really had no interest in DX until after Michaels went on his lengthy hiatus and Triple H took over leadership and brought in XPac and the New Age Outlaws. Undertaker gets so much credit for re-inventing himself but to me Triple H was the guy who continually re-invented himself and always managed to stay relevant. Nobody has better Wrestlemania entrances. 8. Chris Jericho-I have been going through the old Monday Nitro episodes and have been seeing Jericho's growth in WCW and it's given me a greater appreciation for him as a whole and his work he is doing in AEW. Some of the promos and mic work in WCW was hysterical. He may have slowed down a little when it comes to in ring ability but his mic/promo skills and storytelling is as good as it's ever been. 9. Mick Foley-Obviously not a ring technician but still a great worker/storyteller 10. John Cena-Honestly don't undertand why he is so hated by so many people. He works his ass off in the ring. I really hope the rumors about him coming back for one more run but this time as a heel are true.
Man, I just found this channel and I am so glad I did. I've been binge watching a bunch of videos for about an hour already. Awesome info and very entertaining. You sir, just earned another subscriber. I will definitely share and recommend this channel with friends. Keep up the great work! IMO. 10.Goldberg 9.Undertaker 8.Bret Hart 7.Kevin Nash 6.Shawn Michaels 5.Chris Jericho 4.Sting 3.The Rock 2.Stone Cold 1.Kane
I am glad you found me and thank you so much for your kind support! That is really awesome of you! Also, Kane in the number one spot... I feel like Kane doesn't get enough credit. Good for you!
All great choices too.. the ones you have are honorable mentions for me, Steamboat ALMOST made it and like I said, the list is not set in stone, it changes all the time
@@edwardalicea4291 that matters why? The money doesnt go to your bank account stfu. By that logic we all should have the same top 10 just cause they drew money.
It’s a decent list. Age is irrelevant. I didn’t start watching till ‘97 so I missed the Rockin Wrestling Era as well as the new generation. Scope out Wreslemania 10, the Iron Man match from ‘Mania 12, and Survivor Series 1995. As you can tell from those, I love the Hitman.
Unfortunately I didn't get to grow up watching most of these amazing wrestlers but if I had to make a top 5 list I'd have to say (most from just reruns). 5. Undertaker 4. The Rock 3. Sting 2. Randy Orton (the only one of these guys I've really gotten to see from the start of his career) 1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Great list. I can not argue with it at all. Here are my top 3. #3Shawn Michaels #2 Mr. Perfect #1 Bret Hart. And based on 1 and 2 I bet you can guess what my favorite match of all time is..lol
Austin was taught to wrestle by Chris Adams. That guy was an Olympic level judo fighter. I’m confident he could have gone on the mat with guys like Bret or Benoit without being a smash mouth style but the man had to build a character that could draw. I love Mr. Perfect but where’s Ravishing Rick? 10. Ravishing Rick 9. Macho Man 8. Jake the Snake Roberts 7. Scott Hall 6. CM Punk 5. The Undertaker 4. The Rock 3. RVD 2. Stone Cold Steve Austin 1. Bret The Hitman Hart.
My list 10. CM Punk 9. Sting 8. RVD 7. Randy Orton 6. Bret Hart 5. Shawn Michaels 4. Kurt Angle 3. Eddie Guerrero 2. Jeff Hardy 1. Undertaker 0. CHRIS JERICHO/EDGE/STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN/CHRISTIAN
I mostly watched wrestling from 2006-2011, then from 2020-2022. My list: 1. Bret Hart 2. Kenny (Twinkle Surfboarder) Omega 3. CM Punk 4. Hiromu Takahashi 5. Pentagon Jr 6. Chris Jericho/Lion Heart 7. Stone Cold 8. LA Park 9. Macho Man 10. Tyler Rollins HM: Blue Demon, El Santo, Jushin Thunder Liger, Eddie Guerrero. I wanna add more but my comment would be longer then it is..
Heres my benoit story... my sister loved kurt angle in every way possible. So being a little brother just getting into wrestling i picked benoit to spite her. We had a huge rivalry with it for everything. She thought angle was gonna win the rumble the year he did and i wasnt old enough to stay up, so the next morning when i asked she told me he sat on a chair outside the ring the whole match ( jamie noble did that)
That's a great list dude, it's pretty fucking hard ranking favourites. If I could do a top 20 favourites instead just so I don't leave out guys I'd go with this lot, basically covers all my absolute favs, bit of recency bias for some of them. 20. Jay White 19. Batista 18. CM Punk 17. Kazuchika Okada 16. Kota Ibushi 15. Giulia 14. HHH 13. Bret Hart 12. KENTA 11. Aj Styles 10. Chris Benoit 9. Roddy Piper 8. Tetsuya Naito 7. Eddie Guerrero 6. Misawa 5. Will Ospreay 4. Kurt Angle 3. Shawn Michaels 2. Manami Toyota 1. Kenny Omega
My top ten1) Torrie Wilson 2) Trish Stratus 3) Stacy Keibler4) Sable5) Maria Kanellis6) Layla El 7) Krystal 8) Terri 9) Dawn Marie 10) Debra Reason- I always tuned in when they were on TV
Fan since the early 80s. Alltime, Bret Hart Flair Hogan Taker Snake AJ Styles Andre Abdullah the Butcher (growing up...but not since he infected a friend of mine with Hep c) All incarnations of Midnight Express Savage Piper Hennig and Angle. Aside from that, I'm Canadian so Stampede was a fave of mine to watch. Benoit and Owen were both there when I watched it...maddening to see how it ended for both of them. The Harts are royalty here.
My top ten, based on how entertained I was by each wrestler, not wrestling moves/talent, and the order (or roster even) isn't set in stone for me: 10) The Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal (I know, I know, but I see them as a single unit) 9) Macho Man Randy Savage (WWF career) 8) Ric Flair (NWA/Crockett and first run with WWF career) 7) Bruiser Brody 6) Kane (career before first ditching the mask) 5) Andre the Giant (just a legend imo, I was always hyped to see him in the ring) 4) Dusty Rhodes (that man could talk Eskimos into buying an ice maker) 3) The Rock (another guy who could promo like a champ. Imo, it is _Rocky_ that truly has "the gift of gab and the gift of jab" lol ) 2) Hulk Hogan (WWF career. Of course, not down with his comments, just loved Hulkamania growing up) 1) The Undertaker (as you said, best gimmick ever and only Mark Callaway could have gotten it over as much as it was/is. He entertained me the most.) Honorable Mentions: Ultimate Warrior, Mr Perfect, Stone Cold, Chris Jericho, Broken Matt Hardy, Road Dogg Jesse James, Midnight Express, and I could go on and on :)
My top 10 1 The Rock 2 Stone Cold 3 Owen Hart 4 Triple H 5 Kurt Angle 6 Chris Benoit 7 A.J Styles 8 Shinsuke Nakamara 9 Christopher Daniels 10 Shawn Michaels Honorable Mentions Eddie Booker T Kevin Owens Samoa Joe C.M Punk Chris Jericho Bert Hart
Great list Dave. Some of my favorite wrestlers of all time were on that list as well including RVD The controversial Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit Stone Cold Steve Austin and of course the man The Best in the World CM Punk
1. ROB VAN DAM 2. Stone Cold 3. The Rock 4. New Jack 5. Jeff Hardy 6. Kane (fire tanktop) 7. Tetsuya Naito 8. Undertaker (American Badass. I never got the hate, this is the REAL taker being himself) 9. Kurt Angle 10. Chris Benoit
IKR...Bret would top the List or atleast 2nd.....im a Bret Fan ever since when i was young, even when he was still on the Hart Foundation with Anvil....
Always tough to pick 10, never mind rank them: 1-3: Sting, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson - These were the 3 that I wanted to watch as a kid. 4: Low Ki - Straight out of left field! When WCW folded in 2001 and WWE went stale I started getting ROH/Indy tapes and Low Ki kept me interested in wrestling (along with Chris Daniels & American Dragon) 5-7: Macho Man, Bret Hart, Stone Cold - Probably my favorite WWF performers. 8-9: Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit - From ECW to WWE these were 2 guys that I really enjoyed watching (Special shout out to Rey & Eddie who made the same journey - all great) 10: Minoru Suzuki - The guys a legend and tough as nails! Wow 10 is so hard! Will Osprey, Tommy End, Undertaker, Dynamite Kid, Owen Hart, Nakamura, Prince Devitt, Eddie Edwards, Kurt Angle, Muta or Steamboat (Probably others) - could all be on the list tomorrow
10. John Cena 9. Mick Foley 8. Hulk Hogan 7. Stone Cold Steve Austin 6. The Rock 5. Bill Goldberg 4. The Undertaker 3. Jeff Hardy 2. CM Punk 1. Randy Orton
Love your list. Here's mine: 10. CM Punk 9. Daniel Bryan 8. Sting 7. Bruiser Brody 6. Undertaker 5. Eddie Guerrero 4. Bret Hart 3. Kurt Angle 2. Ricky Steamboat 1. Ric Flair
My top 15 1. The Rock 2. Ric Flair 3. Steve Austin 4. Eddie Guerrero 5. The Undertaker 6. Scott Hall 7. Kurt Angle 8. HBK 9. Bret Hart 10. Hulk Hogan 11. Booker T 12. Ravishing Rick Rude 13. Chris Jericho Eye to the future 14. Tomasso Ciampa 15. The Velveteen Dream
My top ten: 10. Stone Cold Steve Austin 9. Randy Orton 8. Edge 7. Kurt Angle 6. CM Punk 5. Eddie Guerrero 4. Brock Lesnar 3. Shawn Michaels 2. The Undertaker 1. Chris Benoit
No particular order; 1. Jake The Snake Roberts 2. Hulk Hogan 3. Kurt Angle 4. Sting 5. Rick Flair 6. Dusty Rhodes 7. The Undertaker 8. Hot Rod Rowdy Roddy Piper 9. Chris Jericho 10. Steven Regal
GREAT GREAT LIST!! When you mentioned PUNK, You talked About his ring placement, and how subtle it was...DAVE could you expound on that? thanks. My god dude, I'm Bret, Austin,Angle,Eddy,Benoit. Man that's insane. One reason Austin changed what I call his "SCold Style" was BC he turned Babyface. WWF style was for heels to bump, feed, bump, feed & the heel's no.1 job was to get the Babyface over. So when AUSTIN changed his work style from heel technician in WCW(over there BC they were southern heel territory heel might dominate matches sometimes, so AUSTIN worked alot of holds. I'm sure you remember STEAMBOAT Program. So he didn't have to work that ALWAYS get your ass whipped at the comeback like WWF Did) to brawling heel in WWF... The difference in his work styles was in WCW it's a heel territory built on the chase and final blowoff that's also payoff. But WWF being Babyface territory it was like send them home most nights happy, which means heel's gonna take that ass whipping, bounce around like a pin ball (Henning, HBGay,Angle,Benoit,Eddy, you notice when they were heels man they bounced on babyface's comeback's) So when STEVE went Babyface he wasn't going to be the one bouncing for the heel & as a STRONG FACE also he was just going to register & then sell. Another reason he was able to add years to his career by being a Babyface starting in 1997. I mean he was a damn machine in 96/97 as a heel bouncing around everywhere. Don't know if you saw the matches w Asshole HBK when he 1st came in 96' & SHAWN had belt. Amazing.
1. The Undertaker 2. Eddie Guerrero 3. Kane 4. Stone Cold Steve Austin 5. Lita 6. Chris Jericho 7. The Rock 8. Kenny Omega 9. AJ Styles 10. Shawn Michaels/Triple H (tied)
Great list! My own favorites (not necessarily guys i consider the greatest, though a few overlap) go kinda like this: 1. Christian Rose* 2. Jeff Hardy 3. Ruff Crossing* (Like your own, from here the order can vary) 4. Chris Jericho 5. Kurt Angle 6. Undertaker 7. X-Pac 8. Matt Hardy 9. Rob Van Dam 10. Rhino Bucky Collins*, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, AJ Styles, Stephen Wolf* are honorable mentions. Mostly high flyers and technicians, now that i look back at it. *midwest indy guys who are or were mainstays in ZOWA, my hometown promotion.
Chris Benoit also was involved in probably the greatest squash match in history. His match against David Flair in WCW is a textbook example of squash match. Nobody in the fans eyes at the time deserved a beating more than David Flair, and nobody on the roster could hand out an ass beating like Chris Benoit. It was almost too brutal to watch.
1. AJ Styles (fan since his TNA days) 2. Chris Jericho 3. Kurt Angle 4. Chris Benoit 5. Randy Orton 6. Eddie Guerrero 7. Ricky Steamboat 8. Christian 9. Sting 10. John Cena Edit: Honorable mention would be Davey Richards. All time favourite ROH wrestler just didn't know where to slot him with people who actually garnered my interest into wrestling altogether or in a certain product of wrestling
My top 10 not in any order other than that Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash would be at the top of my favourite wrestlers of time. In this list I am basing it on who I found the most entertaining for me personally. Hulk Hogan Kevin Nash The Rock Sycho Sid/Sid Justice/Sid Vicious Undertaker Triple H Stone Cold Steve Austin Scott Hall Goldberg Jake the Snake Roberts ( there were plenty of wrestlers I thought of including this list and narrowing it down to 10 was hard since I have many more favourites such as Kane, Batista, Roddy Piper, Roman Reigns, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, Big Show, Ultimate Warrior, Scott Steiner, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley, Arn Anderson and many more. But if I included every wrestler I like then it wouldn’t be a top 10 list.)
Dave Knows Wrestling It sure is hard to narrow it down to ten because there are wrestlers that aren’t in my top ten list that I enjoy watching just as much as those who are on my top ten favourite wrestlers and it’s hard to rank them in order (except for two wrestlers that being Hulk Hogan who be 1st and Kevin Nash 2nd ) but the rest I found hard ranking because I found all of them entertaining in there own unique way.
My top ten 1, Scott Hall 2, Hollywood Hogan 3, Hulk Hogan 4, Scott Steiner 5, Big Bossman (swat) 6, Shawn Michaels 7, Ric Flair 8, Mr Perfect 9, Taz 10, Samoa Joe
Dave Knows Wrestling hi, nice to meet you. Stone Cold is the GOAT in my book. I am also a huge fan of the Von Erichs, especially David (that’s my name), Nick Bockwinkel and the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Cheers
Glad to see Benoit break into top five. Before he was called the Rabid Wolverine I saw him as "the little guy" who could hang with the big boys. His technical skills stood out even when WCW was considered the "pure wrestling" fed compared to the showmanship of the WWF. While I don't feel that Chris should be inducted to the already dubious WWE HoF, I do feel that him and his family's tragic passing more than anything before it led to the improved healthcare his peers receive today, especially regarding concussions.
I do hear that as a silver lining, but I don't think it did nearly enough, especially with the pending lawsuit against them. I feel that a lot of it was mere window dressing. In addition, the steroid trial should have been their wake up call, but it wasn't. However, you are right, it may not be perfect but it did make strides
Harley Race, Terry Funk, Terry Gordy, Steve Williams, Steve Austin, AJ Styles, Ric Flair, Bob Orton Jr. , Killer Karl Kox, Dick Murdock in no particular order.
My god how long I have awaited this video. Great list Dave, really gave me a different perspective on some wrestlers who I would've disagreed with if it was coming out of anyone elses' mouth.
These lists are always so hard to do. It's a pretty damn good list and well done on including Benoit and the way you have put it. Can't argue really with anyone on the list as you made excellent points on why you chose them.
Dave Knows Wrestling That's a Hard one. I'm with you on so many on this list. Mr Perfect, Punk, Angle and Benoit for example. I would pick Savage over Hogan even if Hogan did make more impact in a general way.
I did thought about Savage for sure. I will be honest, it's weird. As a child, because of my Hogan fandom, I spent so much time hating Macho Man. As a clearer headed adult, it's undeniable how GREAT he was. So my inner child refuses to let me rank him too high, but my adult brain has no idea how to actually assess him
Dave Knows Wrestling I'm the same with so many Heels. I hated them as a child but watching as an adult I see how great they were and how a face needs that good heel to make the character and connection stronger. Guys like Piper, Rick Rude, Mr Perfect. So great at what they do.
Narrowing down to 10 favorites is tough and while my order might be different, all these guys are definitely deserving. I especially appreciate Mr. Perfect making the list. I always thought he could have been a true main event guy. I actually didn't love how WWE used Guerrero when he first came over from WCW, but I'm glad he got his time to shine. My list would probably swap Macho Man in for Benoit, I just always loved his promos and thought he was Hogan's best opponent. Hell he even made the Ultimate Warrior look good at Wrestlemania XII. I dont know if there is one already, but a top ten tag teams list would be cool too.
My top 10 1) Bret Hart 2) Chris Jericho 3) Ultimo Dragon 4) Randy Savage 5) Rob Van Dam 6) Chris Benoit 7) Dean Malenko 8) Great Muta 9) Sting 10) Booker T
My top 10,..... ............. 1. HBK 2. Bret hart 3. Ric Flair & Rickey steamboat (ties) 4. Stone cold stive Austin 5. Undertaker & stings (ties) 6. The Rock 7. Triple H 8. Kurt Angle 9.Hulk Hogan & andre the Giant (tie) 10.Mick Foley & marco man randy Savage (tie) Honorable mentioned Mr perfect, Owen Hart, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, CM Punk, Y2J, Chris benoah, Rob Van Dam, ultimate warrior., Edge & Superstar billy Graham.........
My definitive list is: 10: Chris Benoit 9: Randy Orton 8: CM Punk 7: Edge 6: Triple H 5: The Rock 4: Eddie Guerrero 3: Stone Cold Steve Austin 2: Shawn Michaels 1: The Undertaker Just know this list is very unstable because multiple wrestlers are tied but barely edge out one another, also I know guys like Foley, Bret, Owen, Booker T, Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, RVD, Kane, Jericho, Cena, Balor, Omega, Gargano, Sting Goldberg, Batista, AJ Styles, Adam Cole, are missing but look how many guys I lost off you can't order them without causing some debate.
My top ten: WCW/NWA 1) Ric Flair 2) Road Warriors 3) Dusty Rhodes 4) Great Muta 5) Chris Benoit 6) Arn Anderson 7) Eddie Guerrero 8) Midnight Express 9) Steiner Brothers 10) Dean Malenko (Names were on the fly and I considered tag teams as one unit. It maybe breaking the rules. Sorry Dave 😅)
Good list, Benoit is a personal favorite of mine, and I actually met him one time I was in such awe I forgot to ask for an autograph, but I got to shake his hand and he was polite and nice. Undertaker is one of my favorites because he's the Undertaker. I agree with Stone Cold, cause I was a big fan back in attitude era. The one wrestler on my list, you didn't list was Jercho, he will always be one of my favorites great skill, great ring work, great charisma. And the odd ball, odd in the sense it's really not common to most people Jushin Liger.
No one asked but here's my top 10; 1. Ric Flair 2. Steve Austin 3. Triple H 4. Big Van Vader 5. Kane 6. Kurt Angle 7. Bret Hart 8. Brock Lesnar 9. Chris Jericho 10. Mr McMahon
Let's see... 10. Eddie Guerrero 9. Rick Rude 8. Andre the Giant 7. Superfly Jimmy Snuka 6. Million Dollar Man 5. Mr. Perfect 4. Jake the Snake 3. Bret Hart 2. Shawn Michaels 1. Hulk Hogan Honorable Mentions: Booker T, Jeff Hardy, Ron Simmonds, Juventud Guerrera, Razor Ramon
I also have to put Hardyz in mine as well because they're home town boys. In fact, I only met them once and they were awesome, and this was when they were still jobbers. I mean I didn't grow up a fan, I became a bit of a fan during the attitude era, as a teenager and used to go to events. And even though I was born a Northerner I grew up in NC so I love when wrestlers come from here. And I also respect legends, so I'd say Ric Flair is one of my favorites because I love a good heel.sorry to rant, it's in my nature. lol
from this list you can tell i never watched a day of the attitude era, pro wresting started basically from around mid-ruthless aggression era going forward... My Top 20 Top 10(in no order) * eddie Guerrero(favourite pro wrestler, number 1) * cm punk (ive never had as much dislike for one individual wrestler as when he did the SES thing and when retired jeff hardy, and then liked so much after the pipe bomb) * aj styles(ive only ever seen him in wwe but never before have i ever taken such a quick liking and admiration as fast as did for aj styles, he basically came to wwe the finished product) * shawn michaels * jeff hardy * undertaker * chris jericho * rey mysterio(favourite high flyer) * edge (first heel i actually liked as a kid but didnt want to admit) * john cena(unfortunately im that guy that still likes him, maybe not as much as i used back in the days but i cant hate him) Bottom 10(in no order) * kofi kingston * kurt angle * brock lesnar * the rock & stone cold & brett hart(i missed the 90s so i never actually seen them in action just individual videos) * RVD * the miz * batista (pre-2014) * booker t
10.asuka i wanted to get at least one female wrestler on here and she seemed like the best choice 9.mick foley 8.undertaker 7.ric flair 6.bret hart 5.HHH 4.rob van dam 3.chris benoit 2.chris jericho when he first joined the wwe 1.sting wolf pac and when he used to not talk and hang from the rafters i thought your list was great but i thought i should make mine somewhat different. there was quite a few other current wrestlers i wanted to use but i guess i have some nostalgia bias and for people who have been watching wrestling for years we could probably make a top 100 list and still feel like theres at least a few wrestlers that got left off or snubbed.
I absolutely think Y2J has to be on the best of all time argument. WCW, ECW, WWF. Cruise weight, tag, heavyweight champ. Mic skills. And the man of 1004 moves.
10. Kane 9. Mick Foley 8. RVD 7. Seth Rollins 6. Rey Mysterio 5. CM Punk 4. Kurt Angle 3. Bret Hart 2. Roman Reigns.... Just kidding... I'd give it to Eddie Guerrero 1. Shawn Michaels
Wow, not arguing, but it always impresses me when a new guy makes a list..(Seth Rollins) for you. Kurt Angle made my top 10 really early in his career and all my friends thought it was crazy that I had him on so fast.
El santo(original) Blue demon (also original) Tinieblas Mil mascaras Rayo de jalisco Ultimate warrior Undertaker Bret hart And 🥁 Also stone cold steve Austin
My top 10 1: Hulk Hogan( reason i started watching wrestling) 2: randy savage 3: andre 4: stone cold 5: rock 6: ultimate warrior 7: jake the snake 8: Goldberg 9: Taz ecw version 10 rey misterio wcw version i still think nwo tshirts sold alot more than the austin 3:16 ..wcw never kept records of merchandise sales.
Great list overall. And if WCW did sell more nWo shirts.. you have to take into account that it's an entire group. It's not fair and equal to give all of it to Hogan
Dave Knows Wrestling it was much harder to find high on demand merchandises back then. There was no internet to order things and is not like nowdays where even walmart has austin 3:16 shirts in shelf. Look at the wwe superstars now days every 3 month they have a new shirt come out they make more merchandises now theres more ppv's and wwe shirts cost bit more. Only way we can tell is by the quantity how many shirts each individual sold? is gona be hard to tell. But you know who would kick hogan and austin's ass and didnt need to sell a tshirt to prove it?? Bruiser Brody huss, huss huss
I was ready crap on your list but kudos to putting Benoit on your list.great list...... Austin could wrestle very well with the right guy. His match with Bret at Survivor Series and his matches with Benoit and Angle prove he can go.
10 Roman Reigns(I know let the hate start) it gets better, besides Vince is the one that keeps pushing him. 9 Mr. Perfect - Best Westler 8 Bert "The Hit Man" Hart - Best heel of all time 7 The Rock - Best on the mic 6. Big Van Vader - Best Bad guy of all time 5. The Undertaker - Enough Said 4. The Ultimate Warrior - I wanted to be him, that entrance got me going every time 3. Stone Cold Steve Austin - The best ever in WWF 2. The Nature Boy Ric Flair - Some of favorite matches of all time with my number or 1. Sting - Blond hair face paint or Long black hair with a trench coat, I love this guy. Meet him one time a WCW show was the nicest guy and the all time babyface.
