DAVE THE DIVER - A True Delight | Complete Review + 1.0 Release Updates 

My favorite updates from the 1.0 release: - Picking up a new gun no longer makes your old one disappear! Instead, the old one will appear as an item in front of the gun chest that you can swap back to if you don't like your new one. (Only downside is that this eliminates some of the exciting RNG gamble that went into deciding whether or not swap your gun.) - Harvesting a giant fish is now done via underwater "salvage drone" that takes the haul right to your boat. In the EA version, the big fish were so heavy that harvesting one meant your run was basically over because you'd be encumbered. - There's a new shovel weapon that melee attacks downward. This helps with those annoying encounters where a fish would attack from beneath and you'd have to swim for a good while before your firing angle would allow you to kill it. - Farming got a big overhaul. New crops, animals, etc. - If you buy the deluxe version ($25 instead of the standard release's $20) you get new boat skins, a digital art book, and the game's wonderful soundtrack.

This is one of the best games to come out in 2023. I'd pay $35! Just with the shear amount of Free content and constant love the developer has given (worth mentioning). This in itself is unheard of in the gaming industry of greed and micro transactions. Easily a 4.6/5
