I find it highly interesting that a company that makes lip balm put a pipe organ in their warehouse. On second thought, that's more 9f a theater organ.
You are half-right. This organ was NOT put in by the company that makes the lip balm (Carmex/Carma Labs). The organ was installed by my family, specifically, Paul Woelbing, who also owns Carmex. He alone owns the organ, and he shares ownership of the company (but not the organ) with his brother Eric. However, the company does not own the organ. That might sound a bit complicated! The organ is kept in the Carmex distribution center. Carmex will be moving out of the building at the end of this year and into it's new 5-acre building. The corporation will no longer own the building. Paul will personally own the building at this point. The company will move all of the equipment and storage out of the building, leaving an open 40,000 square foot concert hall with a beautiful reverberation which we haven't experienced since the building was new.
