😂 He gives travel times without the traffic. What use to be 20/30 minutes now takes 1 to 2 hours. And it will just get worst with the building going on. Roads do not sustain the amount of growth in the housing industry. Water will become an issue very soon. Don’t fall for it.
There already is a water issue. Each city of Polk County is fighting over who is paying for a desalination plant. The cities that don't put in some money are not going to get to be part of it.
I couldn't agree more. If you work in Orlando like I do and have to be at work at 9:00 am on weekdays, then you'll probably need to leave home around 7:30 am or earlier depending on where you work in Orlando.
This is true. If you're going to Orlando during peak hours it will take an hour up and hour down. The good thing is that unlike a lot of polk you can take I-4 straight to Orlando if you wanted to and sometimes the congestion eases up unlike when you're on traditional roads.
15 minutes to Disney and 30 mintues to the airport if you are traveling at 3 in the morning. I moved to Davenport in 2016 and traffic wasn't that bad but now it's horrible. I absolutely love living here. Real estate prices are starting to drop so you can actually be able to find a 3bdr 2 bthrm close to Championsgate for 300k.
You can get those times at 2am too. The traffic has gotten bad. The resale homes have been becoming more affordable with the amount of new construction around. I appreciate you watching!
Your commute to Disney really depends on the section of Davenport you live in and the time of day. Ive been here a year and love it but everyone in the area says too much housing development and not enough roads. Davenport has so much potential and the location to Disney, Celebration, Clermont, etc is ideal. There is a reason why so much housing is coming up.
I agree. It has a TON of potential with the location. I believe that they will figure out the infrastructure to alleviate some of that traffic. A lot like we are seeing in Clermont/Horizon West. Thank you for watching
Yeah too many people and not enough roads is backing everything up. Davenport used to have barely any traffic and now everyone moving here it’s one of the worst traffic locations. You know you’re close to Davenport when the traffic gets worse 😂
I prefer Hallandale Beach Florida it’s more appealing beautiful beaches and restaurants growing businesses and communities, good nightlife and Pegasus statue is there it’s the second biggest Statue in America 🇺🇸.
Bought a house in 2003 in Highlands Reserve and used it as a holiday home for my family to come a visit 3/4 times every year from U.K. Sold the house in 2013 and recently just came to stay in the Davenport area. I have massive regrets selling the house. If I could I wish I could buy another one in the area. So many memories made with me and my family in Davenport and it will always be in my heart
Me and my family were coming back from Tampa and the GPS sent us through Champions Gate and we fell in love. We are lookin for houses in Florida and we were thinking about Lake Mary but we found the house we wanted in Davenport 70.000 cheaper than in Sanford ❤
Yes Champions Gate has a lot of what people would need in their day to day plus more. Davenport is becoming VERY popular for that exact reason. If there is a home you like, you can save more in Davenport. Send me an email or text cclayhomes@gmail.com (863)225-0060
Got a wallet back from lost and found too bad the employees or customers took the money out , there goes honesty with people. Davenport, fl Cinepolis IMAX movie theater boo
I think Davenport has been built up now in a way where I can recommend someone living there because Posner+ Championsgate, etc has been built up in a way where there's a ton of shopping centers, schools, etc where you do not need to travel more than 20 miles to get everything you would need out of of living in that area. Now if you're someone that needs to travel to Orlando or even Lakeland, etc then yeah it's going to be long drives and a ton of traffic, but I think in defense to Davenport you can hop on I-4 and go pretty much straight to these locations. Comparing that with a city like Poinciana with less accommodations in terms of restaurants, shopping, healthcare, school choices, lanes to get around, etc I think Davenport gives you that advantage for similar money. .
I visit Davenport from Wisconsin every winter. Great location in regards to most things, but about airport traffic, can be heavy on the way there. I'd love to retire here. But RE prices are up right now.
Hello, love that it’s 15 min from Disney springs and Disney and we need Orlando for a Trader Joe’s where my husband works at. We are looking however not buying until end of 2023. We need at least 4 bedrooms 2 1:2 bathrooms and fence back yard for our 2 dogs. I would like my bedroom and office downstairs . Thanks and happy new year.
@@Christianclay Thanks. This will be a holiday to chill and do little else. I've visited Orlando before and have already done the usual tourist stuff. I just need to find a Walmart to get some supplies and then head to my rental villa. Thanks again.
@@Christianclay nah bro it takes 30 minutes to get off the exit of 27 and onto I-4. Granted that’s morning time but still 😂 what used to take 30 minutes of a drive is now about an hour and a half
@@Bigwes91 30 min? Wow I've never waiting that long to merge on I4. I Just typed in "Pozner Park to Disney" the GPS gave 15 min. You can ride with me next time :)
