And as I drove I wished so much you were still in Kiama where I could have stopped and met you in your van and talked with you and listened to your experiences and powerful testimony. Hang in there David. I hurt my back 4 months ago and the Lord had not taken away my burden but had made my burden lighter. I spent 3 weeks in China with my Chinese daughter recently and was able to endure it well. I told the Lord I have the faith to be healed but if I am not I will still have faith in thee. My great grandfather was called on a mission by Brigham Young in Ogden to serve for 3.5 years in England and Scotland leaving his children behind and wives to survive. Such devotion these early saints had. Hang in there

As a "non LDS Christian", I sincerely pray for your back and blessings upon your journey to Utah. I've watched many of your videos about your 47 years of evangelical Christianity and find you to be a fascinating person, and very much look forward to a new channel geared toward Christians like me, and topics like those you mentioned. My best suggestion for a fundamental starting point would be on the nature of God. LDS theology, man became a God. Evangelical theology, God became a man. The nature and character of God is definitely important to understand. Everything else in the gospel covenant and the plan of salvation flows naturally from a correct understanding. Misunderstood, everything else seems arbitrary.
I couldn't agree more. As believers, we all can agree that there is a God, but once we start describing Him, it's like "oh, I guess we don't agree anymore", and the accusations start flying. That's why I think David would do such a good job on the subject and I'm excited to hear what he has to say.
So many left when the church supposedly said children in same sex companionships could not be baptized. What can I say to them other than media blew up the real facts.
I have been trying for years to get a good friend to join the church. She has preacher friends and I think that is why she doesn't want to convert. We need to have long suffering.

You are absolutely correct-the world “is kept from the truth because they know not where to find it,” largely because of “the accusatory fog” you refer to. Those who are humble enough to sincerely investigate, can learn the truth but they have to overcome the world and the propaganda of the world. Thanks for all you do. You are amazing. If the pain gets too bad, go to ER. I've had kidney stones before and they are very painful. The only way to know if it is a disc, muscle, nerve, or kidney stone is to get a CT Scan or MRI.

I know exactly what you’re going through with your back! It sounds like a disc! So most recently I had a bad flare up, I get adjusted because my husband is a chiropractor, I iced it 20 min every 2 waking hours, I teach fitness classes and I DO stretch regularly and I am no longer teaching high impact (jumping) classes. I prayed to ask WHY I was still suffering and the spirit said “SUGAR!” It causes inflammation!! I do have an addictive nature and sugar was a BIG issue for me! So I cut sugar as low as I could and guess what?! The pain went away!!! I do have a treat twice a month now but I am not binging on sugar like I was. I also feel closer to God because any addiction becomes your God! I would be constantly thinking of what dessert to make, to go nuts get ice cream, and eating chocolate like some do potato chips! Processed meat and sugar are a big causer of inflammation! It was HARD for me to cut sugar back this much but pain was the only thing that made me do it!! God knew that! ALSO I have put your name in the temple every time I go for the past year!!

It's great to see you back on your channel, David! I'm so sorry that you are having back troubles. My Pentacostal friend was always obsessed with us observing the Sabbath day on Sunday instead of Saturday. It's a bit unique, as critiques go, but it seemed to be her #1 obsession. I think that the most common critique mainstream Christians have about us is that we are a "high demand religion " and trying to "work " our way to salvation instead of just relying on grace.
I understand your emotions. I know there is aGod. He is our loving Heavenly Father. Because this is his true church That's why we have true, joyful feelings of true love.

A beautiful state, that said, The state of Utah is growing at such a rate that it’s just crazy!!!! It has been prophecy that in the “ Latter Day” Utah would become one of the most wicked places to live! I feel so safe in Idaho. There are many things that I will always love and miss about Utah. To add to your list of the accusatory fog, my neighbor is evangelical Christian and he believes covenants and baptism specifically are unnecessary. He thinks we're trying to "earn" our way to heaven.
It isn’t US at all. James was pretty clear that we must do ALL we can to EARN if it makes them feel better, but THIS is simply to diminish the vast chasm that the Atonement & Grace has to compensate for our sins. We’re simply NOT perfect. Our ability to do ALL we can is like telling God… the debts I owe are 50,000 strong… my goal is to see to it that the Atonement DOES NOT have to cover all 50,000… when I LESSEN the weight of the Atonement on MY behalf.. then there’s more GRACE for those who need more of it. Even if I were to be wrong… how do I possibly go wrong?? Because I was a better person as a result?? However, THIS is not (the) WHY I live my life as I do?? Christ said, “Love OTHERS…” So that is what I do. I don’t focus on the dark or deep doctrine. I live MY LIFE through the FUNDAMENTALS as if John Wooden from UCLA ( yeah , if you know me ;) .. but it goes down to doubling up your socks to avoid water blisters etc.. It’s the ATTENTION to detail as to how Christ LIVED his life & following THAT actual example. The rest is there.. Much of it is important & there’s a lot of nonsense that is simply NOT important. The racist crap? Since 1978? Close THAT DOOR. Modern day revelation is either UNDERSTOOD, or disagreed with and IGNORED, bc somehow we THINK we know better. Unless YOU KNOW your history? They’re largely irrelevant today. Polygamy, it was REQUIRED to trash to gain Statehood. Utah REMAINS to be a State. Adding to the Bible? Check out. Deuteronomy 4:2.. what now do we do with the REST of the Bible after a NOW incomplete version of the Law of Moses?? WE are made in the IMAGE of God. If God is Celestialized.. his RACE is immaterial. We have a NOSE as God has, fingers & toes AS GOD HAS, legs AS GOD HAS.. you can be as SPECIFIC AS YOU CHOOSE to be, but understand that YOU ARE NOW being MORE specific than the Bible , so YOU ARE adding & or subtracting from the Bible…So how do you voice against others when you’re stuck yourself z Which means, either LEARN through PRAYER.. & be RECEPTIVE to the answer you get EVEN if it’s not what was EXPECTED!! If we are impatient with God & answer our own prayers.. WHY BOTHER?! Ohh and patience IS a virtue.. brush up!!

That true David after I join the church I heard many bad things from about other Christain say the prophet Joseph smith is a false prophet he made up his own bible just like the Book of Mormon is not true. I didn’t go back to church for many years but later I searched learned it from my heart and listen to the spirit of Christ the Holy Ghost now I come to know the truth and lead me day by day and become better and better every day. Only the Holy Ghost let us to know the truth not from the world voice. Get well soon David

One accusation that came up recently for me is that "Mormons ate taught to not ask questions." This was on The Devine Council Worldview podcast episode 16. The whole point of this podcast is too make known the biblical teaching about the council and how the active spiritual warfare, that Joseph taught in the book of Abraham and the first vision, continues. Once again the prophet beat out the scholars.

David, you are so inspiring. Thank you for your amazing testimony. Have you ever read "The Inevitable Apostacy" subtitle "And the Promised Restoration" by Tad Callister? The book pretty much covers all of the fallacies about the church and then proves their reality through the bible, scholars, poets and the early Christian Fathers. If I can get your address I will send you a copy of it. It leaves no doubt in any ones mind about the truth of the restored gospel.
The sign said to the public at our temple open house "the spirit that you feel in the temple is not the spirit of God but of the devil" They also told me and my friend that we cannot become like our Father in Heaven. That was the biggest thing they had against us. I wondered why they call themselves children of God and why we are asked by Jesus to pray unto our Father who art in Heaven. We are His offspring for God is not made up of Gold or Silver. May the good Lord bless you in your efforts in this new endeavor.

The one I heard from my mother when I was a teenager and going to church activities with my best friend was that Mormons aren’t Christian, and she even got me a book but I only read th first couple of pages and couldn’t read anymore. Also I believe the adversary is trying really hard to stop you with your infirmity so DONT loose your faith! Go to the doctor, continue to go to the Temple and Pray always! I am praying for you💕

There are a number of unique beliefs in our restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The most important one to me is the belief that we are literal spirit children of our Father in Heaven. I do think this needs to be on your list ❤❤
A point that charismatics often bring up to me. That we are saved by Grace and not by works. That is for sure one of the points of the accusations against us
David I had a similar back issue. Mine was from sitting at a computer for long hours. Where it hurts is commonly not where the pain issue is. It's not always just a backbone issue but a nerve ending issue starting from both upper and lower back. The upper hip may hurt bad but it's flaring up for a whole chain of bound up tight nerves all along your whole back. To reduce the pain I would lay on my back with my lower back right at the beltline area first, directly pushing against the edge of a couch with feet outstretched in front. This would hurt and reveal pain simply by the pressure on that exact spot. After a few minutes I would feel some tingling. I would then move up a couple inches and use the edge of the couch to apply the same pressure a little higher until that part released some tingling energy. Slowly keep inching up higher and higher until you get all the way in your back near the shoulders. I would then feel great almost total relief all the way down. A bit painful but worked for me. Also stretching leg muscles apart to the point where you push into the pain loosens up energy flow. It's usually an energy flow issue and freeing up that flow where it doesn't bind up along the pathway. Getting older and stiff ess has to do with energy flow getting stopped up like little nots. Pressure on all those sore spots frees it up. Pressure on just one or two spots only doesn't move it out. Worked for me and I'm not a specialist.

The big criticism I hear from the evangelicals and the Christian Police is LDS rejection of their notion of the Trinity - the most confusing thing that I've everr heard of. Sorry about your back, I am sure that the prayers of so many faithful Saints will be heard on your behalf! Praying for you! You are doing amazing work here. Your testimony strengthens mine every time I listen to one of your videos!! When I'm having a bad day or need a spiritual boost I put on one of your videos! My dad's name is also David. He passed 10 years ago. You remind me of him in many ways which is also comforting! As a missionary I found that most Christians I came in contact with brought up all the examples of the "Accusatory Fog" you mentioned in this video. The other one not mentioned but which I experienced a lot was: "Why do you preach to us because 'I am already saved' you need to go find those who haven't accepted Jesus as their Savior. Except they said we shouldn't preach to others because we worship the "wrong Jesus." Many people were confused as to why we were already preaching to Christians. Keep up your great work here, it is making a difference in so many lives! I am a much better person because of your pure testimony and example of what it means to be a Latter-Day Saint! Bless you, David. I'll be praying. I hate back pain. It affects everything! For myself (after resting my back well), I have found that if I do my abdominal exercises regularly, walk, and do the stretches and other exercises in the Callanetics book by Callan Pinckney. Things I've heard: - Polygamy in the Church - that men in the church today have more than 1 wife. - We have Horns (I think this comes from something J. Golden Kimball said to some violent Non-Members.) - I've heard some people say that the Brethren live off of the Tithing and Offerings of the Saints - a paid ministry.

Hi David. I can't tell you how exhilarating it was when I stumbled across your you tube channel about 7 months ago. I was thrilled because I thoroughly relate to your testimony!!! I was told by the pastor of the Pentecostal church that I would "damn my soul to hell" if I joined the "Mormon church. That was about 59 yrs. ago.
Have you tired deep tissue massage therapy? I was so blessed to find a wonderful lady here in Suffolk VA. She helped me and so many others. She had some clients who could barely walk in and they walked out a new person.
One of the most devilish lies is that "it doesn't matter which church you go to". This is often accompanied with a hollow platitude such as "they all believe in the same God", etc. All roads lead to Rome, but there is only one way that leads back to the presence of God the Father, and that Way is Jesus Christ.
I am sorry about your Kidney Stones. I have had them and they are not good. I have a daughter that makes two different kinds and has to go to the hospital at least 3 times a year to get them broke up.
