My 40 yr old daughter posted on some social media that listening to Attenborough's voice was comforting because it brought her back to her youth. That made me happy because, for me, listening to the National Geographic theme music had the same effect.

I have always adored David. I would like to thank him for enriching my life. He is the first thing I remember seeing on TV, (him and a french cartoon about the evolution of humanity). That was back when i was like 6 in 1978.. He has just always been there, all the way ower the years,, to deepen my love and understanding of the natural world. Also huge gratitude and respect for the BBC, a mark of quality in all theyr productions.

I have always loved and admired Sir David and his true love of the natural world. His TV programs were always on the top of my family's 'must watch' list. He is the best example of how we should treat other creatures, both animals and plants, who share our planet. Most of them are actually more 'humane' than a lot of people are. I am thrilled to see him still active and loving and enjoying life. As a personal P. S. - if each person recycles or reuses one piece of plastic, that will make a big difference. There are over 8 billion people on this planet, so that would be 8 billion pieces of plastic not in our oceans or landfills. Think about it!

No need to worry when the time comes when we're going to miss him on Earth because he has passed on so much knowledge he has so many followers and because of him, SURVIVORS! in all the forms of life. Wonderful footage of a beloved man. Maybe needs some editing--he can't have two older brothers if he's the second-born, nor be in his 20s after forty-something years. The polar-bear controversy conjures a minor, or even a non-incident, that doesn't warrant so much attention here. At 03:22, the documentary informs, David Attenborough was born in 1926. At 09:54 it informs, " In 1917 in recognition of his contributions the British Academy honored him with the Desmond Davis Award". Obviously there is an error, he cannot receive the award before his birth. Such glaring mistakes are not expected in a documentary on a man, known for the authenticity of information in his works.

It’s deeply distasteful that the entire documentary had been created by AI. This means that a subject that should be pulsating with human feeling has the coldness of a robot. Pathetic. Can’t anyone create anything themselves any longer? Such a waste because the environment and David’s campaign to teach us to save it and ourselves has never been more desperately prescient. But I’m going elsewhere to find content that’s been created by humans. AI is very artificial, but sadly it lacks more than intelligence. It lacks heart and soul. A big F to the AI movement!

What are you talking about? There is no AI here. It's a documentary about a documentarian. None of it is AI-generated. It was all compiled from the BBC's video archives, interspersed with more recent tributes and interview footage of Sir David. We are fortunate to have preserved such a genuine heritage honoring the natural world, and not addicted to the artificiality of video games, lulled by the false beauty of animated films or hoodwinked by right-wing conspiracy fodder.
