We don´t see how climate gets hotter few degrees during a decade or how oceans get higher over time. That´s too slow for us to notice. Isn't that the point? I think the only way we can reconcile ourselves to Mother Nature is forsake our advantages over her. Struggle, subsistence, and death are all part of nature we refuse to address as modern man. I'm typing on a computer now, not forging for food, starving or shivering. We don't even think of Attenborough's documentary as a convenience; and therein lies our disconnect. There's nothing convenient about nature. Every species must find a niche to survive in their local environment. Surplus, which is contrary to equilibrium, provides us the opportunity to transcend our Mother, to render her system of checks and balances useless. We destroy ecosystems because our myopia tells us they're not essential to our life, but Mother knows best. We can't fix this with windmills and solar panels; for that is just asserting our will upon nature, taking resources out of nature and then piling them in a landfill. Logic dictates that less human innovation and intervention reconciles man to Mother.

Why? This is just like an inconvenient Truth it's a scare tactic documentary. It holds no factual based evidence especially when they're trying to say what's going to happen to our farming 60 years from now in 2080. Humans have played little to absolutely zero in the climate that is currently going on . This has been scientifically proven. If you go back and look at the ice records it clearly shows where the Earth has gone through these warming periods like it is right now and then they went through cooling period right after it's a natural cycle that happens on this planet. Is early as the American revolution we were in a mini ice age. Then in the 1970s they tried to say that we were going into another ice age and they were incredibly wrong then they turned around in the 80s and 90s and said that we were going to be in catastrophic environmental failure and that the oceans were going to rise and take all this land up and that never happened. Do I agree that we need to control the overfishing that goes on on this planet 100%, I think we should. There should be massive sanctions put on Japan and any other country that overfishes. I'm not going to sit here for one second and try to perpetuate the myth and just outright lie that humans have contributed to a natural phenomenon that is the climate. Just go back and look what they said first they said it was Global Warming and when they realized that it wasn't in fact they had to change the name to Climate Change because there's no fallacy in that the climate changes daily so they can honestly say climate change which is why they couldn't call it Global Warming anymore. they try to tell you that the polar ice is receding but what they don't tell you is that it's getting thicker and growing in places at record rates. Then they try to tell you that the Amazon rainforest is the "lungs of the Earth". but in reality the Amazon rainforest uses exactly the amount of oxygen that it produces to sustain itself not one particle of oxygen is contributed to the planet from the Amazon rainforest. Climate change has been politicized and it is being used to control people that's the only reason politicians are behind it. Wake up

The evidence supporting human-caused climate changed is overwhelming. And the ice is 100% disappearing. Arctic sea ice has receded significantly over the last century, and although it melts more in the summer and thickens more in the winter, the overall trend is toward LESS ICE. The increase of the average temperature of the globe measured in the last 30 years is unprecedented in over 10,000 years of climate data. Something is changing the weather on this planet in a significant and dangerous way, and all signs point to humans. And the only way that climate change is being politicized is in the way politicians misrepresent hard scientific data and shift the narrative so that corporate interests won't have to sacrifice their profits to save the planet.

@Dark Lord The simple answer is YES. Yes to every one of those questions. We just have to make simple and slight changes in the way go about doing them. Example; Meat production and farming should go hand in hand. Animals eat grass then through their natural waste cycle make the soil super soil for farming. This is a wash rinse repeat system. Everywhere this is being done has been successful.

I feel that there is no time for us to be sad or depressed, we have to do something. We have the time now for actions and i think that we should try our best to help this planet to regrow and us to reconnect to the real and important things in life. Getting the message across can and do get a long way. The question is how effective it is in the long term, we’ll all have to do what we can on an individual note and hope for the best, there is hope for the ecosystems of planet earth we just need to understand the severity of the issues the ecosystems face. In our secular society it has become far to easy to detach ourselves from the part we play in the Earth’s ecosystem. The decisions that we make have an impact, issue is, we don’t actively see most of them from where we are then it becomes easy to think: 1. What can I do in the grand scale I’m just one person. 2. I’m not effected by said thing therefore it is not really that big of an issue. We need to put aside our differences and work together for sustainable solutions and solidarity it requires sacrifices on our part however.

This feels like he's making a massive statement. I'm excited. With everything the way it is right now, it seems like something even more drastic is gonna happen. Being alive sure is a trip

Opened my eyes!! The harsh truth Humans need to face that a sustainable, net-zero carbon world is not for Our Planet, it is for the survival of the human race. No matter how grave our mistakes, nature will ultimately overcome them, The Story of Chernobyl and Pripyat, Ukraine is living proof of that.
