Christian, they were there from the start. Note how he has the guy count them and place them under until he reaches the first upside down card. Three extra cards from the get go on the bottom. He doesn't tell Jimmy to say stop until he is mostly through the deck and ready to stop on the three. It seems random, but isn't.

He gets you to pick any combination of numbers that would equal 7. Pick a number 1-10, any number under 7 and he asks another guy and adds the number. He woulda stopped at 7. Any number higher than 7 and he subtracts the other number

lesley canterbury He added them for the next trick. He's being proactive. He asked the first person for a number and he alters the next range for the next person to statistically meet his number. Very clever.

I love David Blaine!! I bought a David Blaine Zoom magic act at a pediatric cancer fundraiser. My wife and I attended the show -- David was in Paris, we were at home in Minnesota. How he did the card tricks, over Zoom, was amazing. Wow!! My wife does not use the f-bomb often, but she did.

Helps with the act i suppose, maybe people are thrown off by talking slow and clear so they won't notice quick things? Who knows I think Penn and Teller have proven that talking is a crucial part of the act though

I think he's still doing a show in Vegas, like most of them really. Sometimes it just seems like they disappear because they're on TV all the time for a while and then they stop doing that to focus on their shows. I think Angel had some sort of injury a few years ago that put him on hold for a bit too, should be back in business now though.
