I did not realise that. Probably fate or God or whatever, was probably going to take him in 1974, when he was 27, but thought he has so much more to do on earth. And decided to take him on that date 10/01/16 instead.

Later on in the tour about November his voice had become very hoarse. However he seems to be in better voice here than on the July '74 concert released as David Live. And yes he was heavily into cocaine at the time, but honestly Bowie had been on one drug or another from the mid 60s until the late 80s. And he always had " an adiction" to cigarettes ( 60 to 80 per day) and drank tons of strong coffee. I'm not sure about alcohol.

I demand the BBC release the complete show they video taped of this performance! They are the only ones that have a complete show during this tour! Us Bowie fans have been denied this by the BBC! Release it and make us all happy! 50 years is a long enough wait!

The Diamond Dogs Tour was the first concert I saw. I was fourteen. It was the Thursday , September 5th show. I still have the ticket stub. In 2017 the live CD "Cracked Actor" was released, recorded on Sept. 5, 1974. The actual show I saw so long ago! During his own life he did exactly what he wishes to do, to create, no any care to change of style anytime and no afraid his fans. We liked to be surprised all the time with him, until his last Blackstar, we discovered just before he died. His own death was also a surprise and so sad news.
