Fun fact: Because of this performance, David (unintentionally) helped get Jarvis Cocker (from the Britpop band Pulp) released from police custody, from when he ran on the stage during Michael Jackson's performance that same night. And to add a further bizarre note to that story, Cocker had comedian Bob Mortimer accompany him as his legal counsel, as Mortimer was a Lawyer before partnering with Vic Reeves
Bowie sounds exactly the same here as he did in his knitted Ziggy suit at Hammersmith Odeon 23 years earlier. Not quite as magical without Ronson though.
