Any of this old and rare Ziggy footage is a pleasure to see. I am an old man now who purchased every Bowie album on release - although I quit on the release of Lets Dance. But I digress. Ziggy was the ultimate rock n roll star.
Aren’t we all! Still inside our heads we are still the age we were when we discovered Ziggy nothing will take that away from us. Bang the Ziggy album on and we are instantly transported back there via the power of David Bowie.
I love the ziggy period (saw him on his 1973 tour), but you've missed out on some brilliant Bowie albums that were released later than Let's Dance. What a pity to right someone off so talented. It's not too late.
@@brianconway100 Well, maybe it ended for me when he got his teeth fixed. I saw him several times in Vancouver. But I never bought any of the albums. He started to remind me of some hipster chartered accountant rather than a "rock n roll star". I mean Halloween Jack killed the Rebel Rebel.
2024 and still loving all these Bowie videos and songs. And speaking of such, I always thought Star was the most underrated song on that mega hit-filled Ziggy Stardust LP.
I'm going to be a star, Billy Xmas is my stage name be sure to see my show. I've got a ton of material and it's top notch. I may be able to write better than Bowie soon but I love him. I mean to carry on his work so to say
@@erik878 isn't your stagename a problem at Easter? 🐰🐣😉 Just joking. I wish you all the best and I hope that you will be successful. And hey... Maybe I can get a couple of bucks when you're famous and I show this thread to the evening paper 😊
The track is from the best album ever. The lyrics are a self-fulfilling prophecy. Time has led to visual imperfections in the video. But, for me, this improves it.
