You can say what you like about Mrs Thatcher, she certainly had some divisive and controversial policies, but one things for certain, she would absolutely wipe the floor with all of today’s MPs.
I thought it was interesting and showed a lot about her, that despite her recent health scares the strokes suffering from dementia etc. still tried to walk solo as much as possible. Very independent.
Love her or hate her no one can deny her presence of being the Iron Lady even in these frail years after strokes and health issues quite remarkable really
I am pretty sure she did wanted to say she was good to be back at Downing, it`s just she din`t have the voice to do so or neither would they be able to hear her with her fragile state back then.
Also, I do love the gentle & careful way David Cameron escorted her out the car, in front of the door & into Number 10. He's both clearly concerned enough to make sure she's OK, but also let's her go solo & get her moment, standing up on her own, waving at the press & looking indomitable as ever.
I really admire her. Shes not afraid to do things , unlike the politicians today. Most politicians now are too afraid to make a stand because it might reflect badly on their image.
It's so sad to see a person that led such a strong live with such conviction in a declining physical and mental state. I hope the best for Lady Thatcher's remaining years. She served her people well and deserves the very best!
We need more people like Margaret Thatcher & Ronald Reagan today. That is the problem with world today no strong leaders everyone is in it for money & greed !
@@uncovidvaxxforthestrongand3582 Many people dont know she was also an intellect, a scientist b4 she got into politics. A woman of many talents who back then had to earn her spot it wasn't handed to her because of her sex to make up quotas and such , as is the case today.
Will everyone please be quite. You just watched the prime minster wave to the camera with an ex prime minster. Nothing to get angry about. You don't agree with them, fair enough but just calm down.
@gladifly She won a war, saved the economy and had the common sense to save the country from downfall. Which is more than can be said about the Prime Minister's after her.
Bless her. The best Prime Minister we ever head, and one of the finest statesman the world has seen in modern times. She inherited a country in choas, and put the Great back in to Britain. And now look. She must be dismayed.
I almost cried watching this. Knowing what a wonderful women she was, how much she did, and seeing her stand there, probably not even aware of just how much she achieved all those years ago.
Toasty Volvo True. It takes courage to pursue what you believe to be right against the opposition she put up with. She wiped the floor with Labour. Wish she was back again.
I'm sorry that I didn't appreciate her when she was in power but I was only 11. She was a powerhouse and no British politicians today could ever match up to her. She could take a bit of stick in the commons and not be offended and then give as good as she got. Wish things could be more like they were in the 80's.
Lady Thatcher came to power when I was one years old. When she left parliament and John Major came, I couldn't understand it. She was all I ever knew - the leader of my country and still after all these years there was only ever her. Lady Thatcher... you left big boots to fill and you would love these times we are living through now. How we miss your voice.
@Daood Zafar where did you get that from? She is one of the most approved of PMS and is seen as the best post war pm. Tony Blair is seen as the worst pm
She was a massive cunt mate, ruined the North with 'fuck the poor, not worth saving' politics, ruined communities, was involved in the cover up of a major paedophile ring and the clearly knew of the hillsborough cover up and was in a postion power to do something about it and did not utilise it,ding dong
Sure, Jacob's comment was a real intelligent, thoughtful and respectful comment, right? Leftist pretending to be intellectuals are so fucking ridiculous.
I cannot stand this evil woman but I wouldn't wish a stroke and dementia on anyone. My mum has dementia and it is absolutely horrific and heartbreaking.
David did well to come out to her car to greet her. If he had only got there one second earlier I bet he would’ve opened her door which would’ve been the icing on the cake.
Unbelievable a strong woman like Thatcher could be helped in a place that was her home for 11 years.Strong in intellect and heart. Rest in peace for that is all of us our abound. You played your part now it is for others as the world is a stage. In God we trust always. You made the UK a better place which is competitive.Your legacy lingers in many issues you left unresolved. Thatcherism is alive even today.
...There are stuff that are being developed that are promising to do that. It`s just not here yet. Either way I am pretty sure not the general population will get it in time because it would be a highly cost prohibitive expense.
Baji Scipio Dārayav Aurelius Julian Venizelos Nalwa She fucked a lot of poor people. She was responsible with the amount of unemployment back then. But sure they are just dirty commies right?
That Welsh Guy Actually, you find that she was given a broken country and had to make tough decisions. After all of this, she did really well, Actually one of the best PM's.
A PERSON OK I hope you are joking. She dragged this country through shit. She wanted to drag it through even more shit but thankfully her time as PM is nearly up.
That Welsh Guy I do not believe this. Guess you are the guys who go around saying Tory scum and slating everything Tory. Also, you must bea Corbyn supporter. He is scary, the phrases he uses. He wants a communist country.
I mean love her or hate her... she did destroy the fabric of Britain. We’ve never recovered from the damage she did. But you know... “strong personality” I guess.
Don't talk wet. How did she do that? The fabric of Britain was in a mess before she arrived. Nobody went to work, 3 day weeks, everything permanently on strike, virtually bankrupt. Come back when you know what you're talking about you silly student
I like her, only because she was gutless and done things she believed in even if it wasn't what people wanted. Although, I didn't agree with many things she done. But, she can't please everyone.
What a wonderful lady Margaret Thatcher was and still is. She was the greatest prime minister the United Kingdom has ever had. If I was David Cameron, I would have Margaret Thatcher certainly in my cabinet.
