The 72-74 era of KC is the band at their peak, they never managed to capture the live power with other line ups although they were always still excellent, the chemistry between Cross, Fripp, Bruford and Wetton was unique and utterly astonishing ❤

As a fan of the 72-74 King Crimson era, it truly warms my heart to not only see violinist Davd Cross back on stage performing live again but playing the classic material that he was a huge creative part of alongside guitarist John Mitchell who played a lot of these iconic songs with John Wetton's band for many years is absolutely amazing. What a fantastic live performance

Someone claimed that Cross would be classically trained, I don't think so. He seems like a nice guy, but the violin parts of the original Larks Tongues in Aspic Part One, for example, are embarrassing.
