I just saw these posts - so glad you all loved my interview with David - he is pretty fantastic. I love the hair comments, too, but believe it or not, that is my real hair. :)
Very well conducted interview by classy, educated and polite Mr. John Jacobsen. Very refreshing that no dumb, insensitive questions were asked - Maestro David Garrett is a phenomenon, outstanding musician and human being. Gracious, well educated, strikingly intelligent, disciplined, kind, always alert, positive, talented and hard working, Maestro David brings immense joy to his audiences. - "He has got it all" and well deserved. Even his stunningly good looks need to be maintained with a rigorous diet, exercise and a l kind, honest, friendly open spirit, which reflects so attractively from the inside out on his face. Everything he has, he worked for with great discipline.Compliments, adoration and respect to you!
Not everyone can be virtuoso, you have it, I love music all my life, since 6 year, that I played on Piano, and then I played on acodion, and now I learning planning on cello. And I enjoy it very much. So, my life without music it not life, so I wish you the best, with your amazing talent, good luck for you.
I can see what you're saying. My ex plays violin. I adored when he had quartets practicing with him in the apartment. Additionally, how they used body and eye cues was so interesting, and the turn taking. I just loved it.
Fenomenal Musician 🎶 Talented Guy Unique Violin 🎻 player David Garrett 😅,,, love you 💖 pray for you,,✅ great Son ❤️ for all of Audience ✅ in the World 🌎🌍😅😂❤❤❤🎻🎶🙏🌹💝🤗💝🤗🇲🇫🇺🇸👍 🇨🇦....
David Garrett you are very modest... Yeah anyone can play and instrument but ... "TO HAVE ALL YOUR GIFTS, ! TO ME IS.... AS IF YOUR SOUL IS REFLECTED IN YOUR MUSIC " THE BEAUTY IN YOU IS NO ONLY IN HOW YOU LOOK , IS YOUR INNER BEAUTY THAT REFLECT IN YOUR MUSIC !
Your ego is moderate it seems, and that is what im my opinion makes you great. I know many musicians and once they believe themselves beyond constructive criticism or direction, my ears can hear and capture that and tho I'd never ne rude and walk out, I want to.
I had never heard of him until last week. I listened and watch a few of his performances. And didn't care for his interpretation of pop music. Seemed like he would be a good fit in Vegas. This interview makes it clear that he is well trained, youthful and is having fun. He seems like a nice kid. I would like to see what he could do with Jazz...improve.
Lol.You must be jealous. The guy is a child prodigy since the age of 3.He knows what he is doing.Hence he is successful, and you ARE NOT.LOL.He is a man,not a kid.Pokes your green monster.
Tons of closeup camera work going on here! No matter what you do in life folks you've got to memorize things, you've got to take the good with the bad and be your own worst or best critic! Takes a lot of practice and a little bit of talent!--Joni
At: 1.00 min. I totally agree with that. Just look at his hands, not only here in this video, but many others. It seems to me... from the second knuckle down to the finger tips are longer than the average person. And also, I have noticed in the past, he is definitely double jointed, possibly triple jointed. (I hear that is possible). WHAT??
I’m a bit disappointed at him, I didn’t think of him as an elitist. I think anyone can learn to play the violin if he’s truly loves it and willing to commit to it. Not every one can be a « prodigy » but anyone can enjoy playing.
