Dave once said this is his favorite times "just sitting around and making music". this is why he is most people when coming up music. Dave is one of a few that invoke feeling through his instrument which Dave melting with Rick on keys. Dave after 2016 tour sold 121 of his guitars for $21 million which he donated to the climate. $3.9 million for the " Black Strat" without his Jimi Hendrix guitar strap XXX. Jimi played National Anthem with that strap July 4, 1970. 200 jams recorded . Dave is walking into his recording house boat. 2 last PF. and 2 solo's done there. You 2 are the best. wish we could figure out how to do "Echoes" Gdansk 25 minutes long. and some Pompeii " In any tongue"

The best farewell to the blackstrat. Before it sold for charity at almost 5 million dollars.

The lady with the dark hair taking the pictures is David's wife, Polly. She's a professional author and photographer. This was a fun video to watch you react to. Thanks for posting this!

Dave and Wrick always had this telepathic chemistry , They both knew what chord the other one was going to play next! , I'm sure they had a lovely dinner at the house then a few glasses of wine then came into the studio and filmed this :) What a life he lives.

Listen to "a boat lies waiting". A tribute to his true friend Richard Wright who was a passionate sailing man and his spoke. Word opens the song which is soulful magic. Short but profound

Thanks for sharing this jam session from D.G.. I didn't know about them and never saw David Gilmoure on drums. For me it was a little journey. Best regards @all from HH (Germany)

I was coming to the end of a 15-month language course and became increasingly stressed as the make-or-break final exams approached. This is what I used to calm my nerves before entering the exam room, just sitting quietly with eyes closed. Perfect.

Hi guys, Lance here, thanks for the wonderful reaction, I'm glad you enjoyed the barn jams! I wish I could be a fly on the wall when they are playing around in their studio like that, so much fun. I agree wholeheartedly with something you said, about how these musicians have spent their lives on something they truly love. I have had jobs all my life, not passion projects, but I think that would be the ultimate, to do what you truly love both for a living and for passion - and if you can do it with someone you love, well, that must be paradise on Earth. I don't regret my life, but if I could change one thing, it would be to turn the clock back and follow my passion. The houseboat you see is David's floating recording studio, Astoria (just refitted with a new hull last year), moored on the Thames in London (if you google Gilmour Astoria you can read all about it). Parts of A Momentary Lapse of Reason, The Division Bell and The Endless River, On an Island, Rattle That Lock, and Pulse, Delicate Sound of Thunder, Remember that Night and Live in Gdansk were recorded and/or mixed on Astoria. Someone else commented that the dark haired woman is David's wife and collaborator, Polly Samson.

Creating memories is exactly what they did here, especially with his long time good friend Rick Write on keyboards who with David and their long history with Pink Floyd. Now that Rick is no longer with us I'm sure David looks back at this film with pure joy as we do as well.

This is why back in the 1980's they had Pink Floyd at midnight on the radio in Buffalo. It was called "headphones only". The musical arrangements from Floyd are always the best with headphones! Have a great day! God Bless!🐢

David played bass on a lot of the bands recordings, even when Waters was still with them.

Im not sure if you have reacted to Hall and Oates. They were a R&B rock, smooth group from the 70s and 80s primarily. Backstory complete, Daryl Hall used to do a bit called Live at Daryl's house. Similar concept to Barn Jams. Musicians get together and create magic

This documentary is probably too long for a reaction, but I feel that you would very much enjoy watching it just for yourselves. You will get a deeper look at David Gilmour as a person as well as a musician. David Gilmour - "Wider Horizons". ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BVHkNODWgKg.html
