If that triggers you, don't watch a Goggins video. It's like a war veteran who asked a Buddhist monk if he was a bad person (bad karma) because he got shot and wounded. The vet thought it was some kind of punishment. The monk answered he was shot because he was in a war. You tend to get shot when joining wars. That's just how wars are. The same with the Goggins community. You will tend to meet people who are aggressively moving towards their demons. If you don't like it, don't come here If you don't want to get shot, don't go to war. Way before he became famous I used to wake up at 3 am and run for 10 miles back and forth. People in my neighborhood started telling me names and stuff and my parents and family members thought I was Stupet or something. I listened to them and now I am 220 pounds and can't get off my mom's couch.

Day before yesterday I walked and hiked for like 11 God damn hours me and my brother went to the forest until it was pitch black and went home on foot but the day before that I went to the gym and yesterday I went to the gym and then I went for a damn run and now today I'm like do I really want to run I can't even walk my back is sore it's 10:00 a.m. right now but do I want to run do I want to go to the gym I found it really nice running during the sunset instead of waking up in the morning and going for a run it's fully awake and I ran much further than I did out of all the other times yesterday it was the same route but I'd always stop here and I'd stop there and I always stop there this time I didn't stop for a long time
I also lift weights at 3 am in the dark on the grass in my yard for a few hours with just my phone light yet I’m a nobody. Maybe because I just get after it and don’t make videos about it.
being disciplined is great, but I think he is exagerating; night is made for sleeping, if you have insomnia ok, go and train, but if you wake yourself up to run at 3 a.m. is not good for your health. Ypu also need to sleep.
This is so arrogant and condescending. All these people are asleep because they have work the next day. They have duties, responsibilities, they want to keep the economy running and functioning, making society better as a whole. Some people have kids to take care off, work for, drive to school etc. People want to go to work fresh and ready to tackle obstacles. What makes you think they hate Mondays. Some people love them because they can plan out a solid week ahead. Some people want to get to work because they are passionate about it. Some people including me find that work Mondays pass so quickly. I don't understand how you can talk down to people trying to live their lives.
what is the big deal of running at 3am... why people proudly brag about it... is it running at 3 am really tough? or.... the tough part is to get out of bed!!!! ************ when would be more runners in the mountains.... at 3, 4, 5 am...when is FRESH or at 3, 4 , 5 pm...when is HOT AS HELL.... I see a lot more runners in the morning than when is "F" HOT!!! any idea of .... why is that? ....... I find more challenging running when is HOT as hell....that running when is so FRESH OUTSIDE....
What a stupid health advice. Sleeping and being active in accordance with our biological circadian rhythms is important to health and metabolism. Just one night of bad sleep is enough to let you insulin resistant the next day, while also sending your cortisol through the roof. Waking up 3 am is BAD, exercising 3 am is even worse! It might look good for the less informed person, but don't make this mistake.
I mean, did he tell us to work out at 3 am? you dont have to be like him. He clearly is saying he does the things he does for his mentality not his health. Him being awake and working out before people even wake up to go to work miserably is what strengthens his mentality so that's what he does. I'm with you tho
People don't get weaker by sleeping at night. Sleeping at proper time makes you actually stronger, because your body and your brain regenerates. In fact going out at night to be an asshole and film stupid videos for social media and don't let your body rest is what makes you weaker.
