Great podcast Matt, that’s exactly how Dave is no bullshit straight talking and funny as fuck. Love him like a brother better than any antidepressants. Most loyal person I know will do anything for a laugh. Was walking out his house one summer’s evening, just gets to his gate and top of his voice shout fuck off Harkin you nice don’t let me catch you round here again. All the neighbours looking out the windows whilst I was getting in the car. He was laughing his head off. 😂😂 so many stories that still make me 😂

That was quality Matt 100pc really enjoyed that looking forward to more. I only wish there were more people like Dave around as there is some idiots kicking about now who don`t know the script of how to behave and conduct themselves. There are some serious people up this end of the woods who are well known but even though they serious people they are quality lads never go round hurting anyone intentionally and they are respected and they respect people as well. On another point for example there are some people round here who sell a bit of gear and they think they Pablo Escobar advertising it on facebook basically just asking to be caught but they think they know everything but they know nothing really. Such is life eh. My dad god rest his soul when he was in his younger days many many moons ago he was a bit of a naughty lad done a lot of prison time nothing horrible just honourable crimes if that`s the right way to put it and in his later life and when he finally settled down he told me that there was more money to be made legally than there was illegally as he started a business up in Blackpool which done really well although he still had his things on the side which brought in extra cash, nothing serious didn`t hurt anyone bit of this and that, little things like what a lot of people do. Anyway massive congratulations to Dave having grandkids it`s absolutely brilliant, I know they will all look up to him and say what a fantastic best grandad in the whole world he is. I have 3 grandkids love them all the world they keep me and the wife going and very busy I couldn`t do without them even though they trash the house every week when we have them it`s great. Anyway thank you so much Matt for doing all this and it`s well appreciated. Take care mate.

Didn't know you were from our neck o woods, assumed you were a Notts lad. Knew of a couple of your namesakes in/around town growing up. Nice one all the best, first time listener to your show Matt. Brilliant interview, saying it as it is. I lived on Arnside Rd from 1980-2000. Can remember as a kid seeing either Dave or Colin in a white Escort XR3i with Top Gunn under the number plate. Also a 4x4 with Bestwood Gunn Shot on the spare wheel cover.
