Imagine the number of lives that would have been saved if people had listened then, or at least reduced the reckless flow of immediate SSRI prescriptions, and lack of honest information.

Thank you for enlightening people No other person in society has the kind of power the psychiatrist has that is the power of which psychiatrist must be deprived . If the psychiatrist 's conscientiousness is supplanted by cowardice, greed, pride, or self-deception, the already vulnerable patient must bear the brunt. Medical science and practice are largely based on the assumption that scientific knowledge grows by accumulated knowledge. On this traditional model of professionalism, authority is the ideal and precisely understood to be free from error . This approach to learning encourages intellectual dishonesty.. Unrestrained, psychiatrist continues to harm in the name of help

Thirty - eight years ago I was put on Ritalin, which promptly blessed me with insomnia, alcohol addiction, & all kinds of crazy thoughts, feelings & experiences - including depression, suicide, & terrifying visual & audial hallucinations. I was deemed depressed as a result, then schizophrenic. All the when being prescribed stronger doses of stronger meds until I was taking three - thousand milligrams of thorazine every day. At sixteen I refused to take anything anymore. My parents turned me over to the state. I drank & lived on the streets in a slum for most of my twenties, then quit drinking & moved back to my home town, where I now have three kids. Their maternal grandmother forced me out on the street & took custody of my kids. She now has my daughter being given guanfacine for ADHD. I will never stop until my kids are safe at home with me, or I'll die trying💀😁👍
@Mark-bw1wx
@Mark-bw1wx Год назад
Yeah they f*cked you over good. Me too. They started giving me that thorazine when I was 14. I'm in my late 60s now. I'm a father also. Because my upper-middle-class narcissistic family, especially my father, a corporate VP, didn't like the fact that I wasn't kissing his butt and didn't want to be a businessman like him, and I wouldn't provide him with the required narcissistic supply, he decided there was something "wrong" with me and sent me to a an older, f*cked up ex-army psychiatrist when I was 14. A real lover of the lobotomy pills. My parents loved my sister because she was a real "go-getter." So obviously there was something wrong with me because I wasn't living up to their image of success. I now realize I've always had Asperger's which is why I was "different" than them, but in those days they didn't really know about things Asperger's so if you were on the spectrum, they would diagnose you with "chronic undifferentiated schizophrenia" and put you on good old Thorazine, just like they did with you also. This is precisely what autism authority Temple Grandin says they routinely did in those days. I only found this out recently. To repeat...they would label people with Asperger's as having "chronic undifferentiated schizophrenia" and put them on Thorazine. They turned me into a vegetable. I could hardly walk sometimes. Some of my classmates called me a "vegetable" and a "sickie". Among other things, thorazine f*cks with your dopamine system big time. So you lose all motivation to do anything. You also get parkinsonian symptoms as well so I had those when I was only fourteen years old. Tremors, barely being able to walk sometimes and so on. It literally does turn you into kind of a "vegetable". Lobotomy in a capsule. So once my family in this wonderful psychiatrist gaslighted and brainwashed me into thinking there was something "wrong" with me and I was "mentally ill", it all went downhill from there. I was no longer a human being but "mentall ill" and that has been my identity ever since. And ironically if anything makes somebody "mentally ill"... assuming such a condition even exists outside of the Western psychiatric model..., it is the PSYCHIATRIC DRUGS which damage our brains and our bodies which do that. So yeah they basically ruined my life, my self-esteem and any confidence I could have had in myself starting at a tender young age. Then I ended up on disability because that's often part of the progression after they convinced you that you'll never be able to function like a normal a member of society. And anyway the lobotomy pills make it almost possible for you to function as a "normal" member of society even if you wanted to. You need a functional brain and body in order to do that. And they did a number on you too, didn't they? Even took your kids away? Yeah they did a number on my son also simply because I was his father. They do this to so many of us. They destroyed my life. The psychiatrist my father sent me to when I was 14 acknowledged that there were problems with my parents that were causing a lot of my problems but he put me on all the drugs anyway. Thorazine, and even f"cking Dexedrine after a while because the thorazine turned me into such a vegetable that I could barely walk and function. . Yeah the psychiatrist did all this to me after acknowledging to me in private that it was my parents that were making me "sick". Of course he wasn't going to tell them that. After all they were paying his bills weren't they?👍💰💰💰👹We need to pray for one another. That we make it through this life and that our children will be halfway okay after we are no longer here and after all that they put us through that they had to watch. All the crazy behavior they had to watch us go through after these drugs that we were put on the damaged our brains and bodies and caused all our crazy behaviors. They had to suffer with that growing up also. So we get to feel guilty about that as well. But they never feel guilty about any of this these fucking psychiatrist. They never face any criminal consequences for what they do and they should. And good luck trying to sue them because it's pretty much impossible. Such a f*cked-up world. 💊💊💊💉💰💰💰👹. Anyway I wish you the best outcome possible in spite of all this hell we've been through. And our kids have been through. Stay strong my brother and I will try to do the same.

@@Mark-bw1wxI was on Ritalin @ age 4 in 1971 & Thorazine @ age 10 in 1977 (the latter did permanent damage 2 my sexual development). I was 30+ different psych meds (including the 2 a4mentioned) ovr 44 yrs b4 becoming psych med-free since 1/1/2017. By becoming psych med-free, I elimin8d suicidal ideations that psych meds caused me 2 have (of course, they r dismissed & disregarded by my various psychiatrists whenever I addressed my experiences w/adverse reactions including the suicidal ideations).

I hear all these lectures, see all these videos but WHEN is someone going to step up and actually FINALLY DO SOMETHING???? NONE SHOULD BE PRESCRIBED THESE DRUGS. There is NO MENTAL ILLNESS UNTIL YOU PRESCRIBE THESE DRUGS. There is only COMPLEXITY in our lives which make us have moods like being anxious depressed etc. We have to deal with those issues with counseling and compassion!!! NOT DRUGS

I had the same thing happen with Venlafaxine. But unfortunately, it didn't stop when I stopped the drug. I also had suicidal ideation. They cut me cold turkey after three months of use and it was awful. Then they tapered me way too quickly and two years later, I still see square things crooked (withdrawal symptom).

Do you know what happens when jail personnel deliberately doesn't give inmates their SSRI's (Lexapro) after serving a 5-year prison term forcing them into full-blown SSRI withdrawal? This happens: 'Kalamazoo man guilty of stabbing man 27 times gets minimum of five years'. And who is this man? My son. And no one gives a shit about his life, in fact, there's an epidemic of deaths inside prisons when inmates are deliberately being denied their current benzo upon admission then forced into cold-turkey withdrawals until their dead. And who gives a shit? No one. When I became extremely homicidal during my own C/T Effexor, Trazodone & Lithium withdrawal I put myself into another God for saken psychiatric hospital begging them to treat me without using further drugs, they didn't see it that way, forced injections were given. Once back home trying to withdraw again from these poisons my house burned to the ground leaving me homeless, and did anyone inside the entire mental healthcare system where I was heavily involved give a shit? Absolutely not. Thank you Dr. David Healy...

I'm very sorry to hear that, that's really tragic 😢 I was suicidal and almost homicidal from these drugs, I constantly felt like I was going to pop. On several occasions I had to talk myself out of wrapping my car around a tree and offing myself. It was like being overtaken by some outside force, like someone else was in control... I know of another guy that told me seroquel made him want to do the same thing. I was cut off cold-turkey from multiple psych drugs in jail and I seriously didn't even get a minute of sleep until 20 days in, and I got about 20 min... I was so weak I thought my heart was going to give out, all I could think of was jumping off the balcony or doing something to knock myself unconscious. I also had SEVERE akathisia, my nerves felt like they had electricity flowing through them and the mental anguish was unimaginable. I was definitely forced into a psychosis and the nursing staff refused to help. It was torture.

Because they're very lucrative. Doctors puts anyone with just about any condition on them. Then the patient has to take their meds in order to feel "well" and because they're often told that they will have to be on them for the rest of their lives. So this is a lot of money going into the pockets of pharmaceutical companies.

Dr Corry exposed the ignorance of 8 professors on Monday 19 October 2009. The Irish Times published a letter from eight professors of psychiatry who lead the teaching departments in the subject. The eight professors denied that antidepressant use is connected to homicidal acts, though they were careful, to use the wold cause rather than a link when all eight accused Dr Corry of stating definitely that antidepressants cause homicide. Ignorance is at the highest of the teaching of psychiatry, Ignorance among the eight professors who control the teaching is not just deplorable, it is inexcusable, and it is appaling it is dangerous.

What's even more galling; when it comes 2 mental health conditions, medication's MANDATORY/REQUIRED (NOT OPTIONAL as it's w/other health conditions; even insulin's OPTIONAL as treatment 4 diabetes)!!!!! Despite the previously-squelched proof of the harmful effects caused by psych meds, mental health personnel remains stubbornly steadfast in their (collective) stance/insistence RE: psych meds as MANDATORY/REQUIRED TREATMENT!!!!! That's EXACTLY y our society's so fucked-up. The blatant lack of open-mindedness w/in mental health.

interesting video which tells the truth about the situation we now find ourselves in created in most part by governments like my own here in Australia who continue to fund Psychiatry and now loopholes in our judicial system here are being used more and more making murder legal by not recording any conviction of murder for anyone diagnosed with Schizophrenia including post homicide, in other words if you murder someone at anytime before you were diagnosed all you need to do is find a Psychiatrist who will say you had undiagnosed schizophrenia at the time and now by law you are deemed not guilty of murder instead the offender is put on a life long treatment order and serves time in a Psychiatric Hospital and not in a Jail clearly suiting the industry of Psychiatry who profit greatly from this system. This is also clearly being done to try and break the undeniable link between Psychiatric drug use and homicide not to mention all the suicides, murder/suicides these type of drugs can cause as Prof Healy mentions in this video... Of course this is now going to to replaced with the lie that it is schizophrenia that is responsible for homicides, why because the corrupt system we now have here makes it so. I expect in a few years time they will start releasing case studies with their propaganda making sure the drug companies will never again be able to be held liable for any harm there products cause. Worrying times ahead...
